VIZIO 2.1 Soundbar, Wireless Subwoofer w/Dolby Atmos & DTS:X, Bluetooth Speaker, QuickFit™ Compatible – SV210M-08 (New, 2024 Model)

I originally got the ultra-cheap (short) 2.0 version of this bar for small TV in our summer house and I was impressed with the quality. So I finally decided to replace my $600 Yamaha soundbar at home. I am super impressed with the quality and functionality of this bar. Volume normalization (DRC I suppose) and dialog enhancement is the best I've ever seen, and for the price this seems ridiculous. It works flawlessly via HDMI eARC with my LG TV and Fire Cube. The only negative I found is that it doesn't include a remote but it works flawlessly with both TV and Cube remotes so I don't think an issue. Additionally it's a nice touch that settings are adjustable via the bluetooth via the App - it'd be a hassle to change them otherwise.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend's new apartment. For the relatively low price I wasn't sure what to expect, but I knew it would be an improvement over the standard TV speakers and it definitely doesn't disappoint! It connected with their Sony TV right away, and out of the box the bass from the subwoofer was cranked a bit too high, quite boomy, but the app makes adjustments easy. With a little tweaking it sounds pretty dang good for what it is and it definitely performs well in a small apartment living room. I'd recommend it for that or also for a clean and simple bedroom setup. My friend is quite pleased and thankful.

The first thing you should do when purchasing this unit, is don't. If you are unfortunate enough to do so, throw it away when it arrives. That'll save you the frustration when it stops working in 4 months and you need to listen to music to get through the day. The app is junk, the sound is alright, when it plays. Constantly disconnects if you pause for more than 5 minutes. The you have to walk over to the sound bar and press the Bluetooth button to reconnect. I'd give zero stars if I could.

Great quality audio for the price. Subwoofer really adds depth and bass sounds amazing. Looks very minimalistic and modern. The only complaint I have is that it can't connect to PC via HDMI. It is only for Bluetooth or TV connections. I had to buy a Bluetooth adapter for my PC to use the soundbar, which defeats the purpose in my opinion. If you're looking for a soundbar for your PC setup, make sure your motherboard supports Bluetooth or look for another soundbar. Otherwise, great product.

10 min max to install. Sounds great. Nice to have some low end in the room. Leave the volume on 16 most of the time.

I've owned past versions of this soundbar, but it wasn't till I tried a cheaper onn brand that I realized what cheap really is. It sounded poor, like a louder version of your TV speakers, and the bass was over the top, and one month after the warranty it crapped out. Which led me to this little gem. Looking for a replacement, this new model popped up, I read the reviews, and took the chance. I did go ahead and download the app first, booted it up before setting up the soundbar, and it's on a newer TV with the arc HDMI, so it worked seamlessly with a Roku TV. I know you can spend more, but it's in a small vaulted room, and still it sounds so much better. I like that it's not overly huge, the bass driver is small, tucked away under a desk, sounds great. Had it for a couple months, time will tell, my older version in the main house, has been rocking it for years.

Would give this 5 stars but it make you not only download app but create a account which doesn't need C.C. and is free other than it leeching your personal data... Very big negative if you ask me. Also I use with my samsung tv works immediately if you have eArc hdmi input buuuut here's the catch out the box the soundbar and sub are set for way too much bass for watching TV in turn forcing you to download app and setup account in order to adjust listening experience. Which is definitely capable with this little unit..... or I would have given 1 star and set it back. So I now come to reason I give 3 stars and that is because the process of connecting phone via Bluetooth to speaker to open Vizio app to get into sound settings is in my experience very frustrating because you always have to push and hold bluetooth button for 5seconds on side of bar then connect to phone but dont sit down yet because so far every time I've tried I have to turn speaker off again,.... back on,.... then hold button again! In order for it to register on app or else you cant access device!!! Talk about pain in the butt!! When alls i want is to adjust bass for watching TV at night to not wake up family or turn up for watching football game in afternoon! Outside of that very annoying process which at times deters me from even turning TV on... The quality and overall sound from this unit is a huge upgrade from tvs built in speakers and at a affordable price point I would recommend this soundbar and sub thanks and my apologies for the length of this It is just something I wish I'd have know before I bought this I had thought this included a remote before I made purchase but there is not one
