imoo Z7 Kids Smart watch, Flip Dual Camera, Video Call, GPS, SOS, IPX8

The watch looks great and has great functions. We've just been using it for a few days now but the connectivity is good and location is accurate and works well. We had the Z1 before and were very happy with that but this one is a great step above. Battery life seems to be very good as well. The Z1 usually lasted about five to seven days without being recharged and so far the Z7 seems to be the same. My kid loves the upgrade with all the new functionalities that the Z7 brings and so do I. It was very easy to transfer between the two watches in the app. I just moved the SIM from the old watch to the new one and scanned the bind code. As soon as the app noticed that it was using the same SIM card it offered to transfer all settings to the new watch and that was it. New fields for functions and features that the Z7 has but Z1 did not were automatically added to the user interface of the mobile app. For both watches the delivery was exceptionally fast. With the first watch it was actually set up and ready to use on my kids wrist less than 24 hours after ordering. And this time it was ready for delivery exactly 24 hours after dispatch. I really believe that imoo is the number one in kids smart watches in the world today and totally recommend this brand.

This watch is fantastic. It has allowed us to give our son greater independence but with the comfort of being able to contact him, and him us, if needs be. The tracking is fantastic and so accurate. It is easy to use. The quality of the calls are excellent. It has all the features we wanted without having to buy a phone for our son. It has been money very well spent.

Did what it supposed to do for just over 2 months (sort of anyway, the location tracking was super unreliable and does not seem to work over roaming as others have said), but now all of a sudden the plasticky, flimsy cap that holds the sim in place does not want to shut properly. So now it’s a £200 wristwatch that tells the time. Yay. Outside of the Amazon return window too so now at the mercy of this overseas company so not holding my breath for any proper support. If you’re looking at this product you’re probably looking for a non smartphone alternative for your child, so big up to you for that, but unless you want to be £200 out of pocket, this does not seem to be that alternative unfortunately. A quick google search (which I wish I’d done pre-purchase), indicate that this a common problem too. No idea if the non waterproof cheaper version might be better in this regard, but not inclined to give this company any more of my money.

Bought it to stay in touch with kids when they are abroad on holidays. Phoning works well, but location functions are just not capable to find the watch. Location and health data are not available when in roaming. Could have been better for the price! Also, I am unsure about privacy etc, the producer is Chinese, is the data from supporting app going through Chinese government surveillance systems? Not sure it was the best choice overall, but works well so far, except location tracking abroad

First off, the product feels cheap. The screen is difficult to use and looks like something from 10 yrs ago. The watch is very bulky, especially on a childs wrist. The user experience in setup is appalling, you are met with typos spelling mistakes and really weird phrases “the child did a good job today”. Tracking is barely functional. We spent hours getting the thing set up and we’re still not sure it will keep our kids safe online - the whole experience is too complicated (and I’m an IT professional *sob)

Works very well but battery does not last not even 24 hrs on standby mode

The watch is exactly like the photos but there is no sim included with the watch which I think is bad as I paid over £100.

Disappointed quality reflecting price. Poor signal on watch. Using same network on my mobile phone and its runs no problem in same area. Watch saying poor network and can’t locate on map. But on my phone in same area show full bars. So another chana scrap.

A ver, cuesta su dinerillo, pero francamente, vengo de otro similar de otra marca con mucho renombre y nada que ver, ese otro modelo, con mucha proyección (SF) tiene un GPS horroroso, y era de chiste el posicionamiento que hacía de mi hija, este Imoo Z7 la clava, y agrega métricas de seguimiento, salud...super contento. Está claro qué reloj recibirá la hija que viene detrás.

Wir haben unserem Kind ab der ersten Klasse eine Xplora x5 gekauft gehabt, mit der wir so Gemischte Gefühle hatten, nun nach 2 Jahren, die Xplora x6play(sollte ja besser sein.) aber OMG, die ist ja mehr als nur schlecht. GPS teilweise garnicht vorhanden, trotz Netzabdeckung etc. Also wir uns gedacht, naja, suchen wir mal wieder so ne Chinesische vll. ist das ja was(man hört ja schon immer wieder gutes) Also ich über die IMOO Z7 gestolpert und dachte mir, naja, wenns nix ist, dann ab zurück zu Amazon. ABER: Die Uhr ist wirklich sehr GUT. Sie kommt in einer sehr hochwertigen Verpackung und ist darin sehr sicher Verpackt. Nachdem man herausgefunden hat, wie man den Würfel öffnet, sieht man die Uhr auf einer halterung hängen, die die Uhr sehr gut im Griff hat. Einmal gelöst merkt man, das die Uhr eine wirklich Gute Qualität hat, sie aber recht Protzig auf einem dünnen Handgelenk wirkt. Nach dem Einschalten erst mal die Uhr mit der SimKarte (Kein ESim) kombiniert, dann direkt das W-Lan konfiguriert und alle benötigten Updates gezogen(Für deutsch ist ein Sprachupdate erförderlich, somit ist man auf die ersten Meter auf seine English kenntnisse angewießen) das Update war schnell durch, das Systemupdate dauerte etwa so 10min. In der Zeit verlangte die Uhr nach einem Netzstecker. Während dessen die Handy APP im Playstore runter geladen und Installiert. Die Uhr konnte ohne Großen aufwand hinterlegt werden, und auch ein 2t Acc, der meiner Frau konnte die Uhr hinzufügen. Vorweg: Die Fitnessfunktionen ineressieren uns nicht, die haben wir nicht getestet oder aktiviert. Die Testumgebung zum Telefonieren und Tracking waren: Zuhause, in der Schule, beim Einkaufen, in einer anderen Stadt, im Wald, im Schwimmbad. Bei allen umgebungen konnten wir ohne Störungen Telefonieren sowie Videotelefonieren. Die GPS-Funktion verlief zu unserer Überraschung äusserst genau, (beim Einkaufen stande meine Frau und Kind neben den Einkaufswagen auf dem Parkplatz und die Uhr Zeigte genau dieses, sonst im allgemeinen ist die genauigkeit zwischen wirklich Punkt genau bis ca. 20m. (die xplora's x5/x6 konnten das nicht so gut.) Die Ladezeit ist mit ca. 1ne Stunde von ca. 55% Akku bis 100% sehr Schnell und gut. Sowie hielt die Uhr (ohne eingeschaltetem Bluetooth) mit ab und an mal Tracken, Videotelen sowie waren die Fitnessapps noch Aktiv, der Akkustand bei 100% um ca. 7.50Uhr bis zum nächsten Tag ca. 20Uhr durch und zeigte einen Akkustand von noch knapp den oben erwähnten 55%. Wir haben gleich ein neues Armband mit bestellt, was einfacher zu handhaben für die kleinen ist (auf den Bildern zu sehen) Der nachteil: Es gibt leider keine Ganzkörperhülle für die Uhr. Man muss sich extra eine Displayschutzfolie bestellen und separat eine Silikonhülle, die die Uhr nur am Rahmen schützt bestellen und diese Hülle kommt mit einer angen Lieferzeit aus Fernost. Aber wirklich, für jeden der wo die Marken leid ist und so wie wir von Xplora und Co. enttäuscht sind, der sollte es mit der Uhr versuchen. Diese Uhr macht nix Schlechter als die Xplora's, aber vieles besser.

No hemos tenido ningún problema desde su compra. Llevamos varios meses utilizándolo y la verdad que todo perfecto. Tiene todas las funciones necesarias para poder salir y tener la seguridad de poder comunicarte con tu hijo si es necesario o poder localizarle.

Wir haben die imoo Watch Phone Z7 für unsere Tochter gekauft, um ein bisschen mehr Sicherheit und ein besseres Gefühl im Alltag zu haben – und wir sind absolut zufrieden! Die Live-Tracking-Funktion ist unglaublich nützlich, und es gibt mir als Elternteil ein Gefühl der Ruhe, zu wissen, wo mein Kind ist. Die Kommunikation über die Uhr funktioniert zuverlässig, und sie ist einfach genug für Kinder zu bedienen. Das Design ist robust und kindgerecht, und das Tragen der Uhr ist angenehm. Die App bietet die wesentlichen Funktionen auf eine leicht verständliche Weise, sodass auch technikunerfahrene Eltern schnell damit klarkommen. Klar, ein paar kleine Verbesserungen wären in der App noch möglich, aber für den täglichen Gebrauch ist sie vollkommen ausreichend. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Produkt, das hält, was es verspricht!
