Effective external cooling.
I'm one of those weirdos that likes to use a laptop on a huge monitor and when I'm not home I just take it with me. Laptops for a while now have had issues with cooling because they try to make them as thin as possible. Naturally this creates issues with cooling as you can imagine. I have a dell g15 5515 and it runs warm. It does not matter what kind of pads or paste I use, it just gets warm. Well I also live in the desert and thats an issue in its own right with the balming heat. So what's the solution? Well chill pads have come a long way since my 20's. They are no longer these basic plastic plates with 3 fans on them. We have THESE now. This chill mat is a pretty big evolution. It has a gusset that runs all the way around that creates a seal that forces air through the laptop. It's a very simple design that features just an ON button and a basic control knob that you can use to crank it up if you need to. It also features a USB hub that you can use if you so desire. So how does it function? Well it's pretty loud and you can hear the fan crank up. However, the temps are worth it. Normally my setup isles at 50. It's dropped it down to 37. Normally under max load I'm running at 77. It now sits at 55. Yea, the noise is worth it. It sports a pair of arms down at the bottom to hold your laptop up but if I lean my laptop on them I don't get a proper seal. It's not a big issue to me as it's up there pretty firmly and I don't believe that it's going anywhere anytime soon. I can't comment on how long it's going to last. It's only day 1 and only time will be able to tell what it's longevity is. It's worth the price I feel. If anything goes wrong it has a 1 year warranty.

Cooling Master, High Tier Must Have Investment
Welcome back Shoppers of the Amazonian style! The product you have before you is worth all the money, even if i felt i ordered the RGB, yet forgot to read the full name. Regardless, its a powerhouse of a system, while it can become loud, it also comes with the fact that its working. Definately would recommend going with this item rather than those Targus that might be good, but dont stand out. Read below for further understanding of my view and take on this equipment. 1. Price: If you want a durable, large, not so cheap feeling cooler. This will be a great choice. it's higher than most, but i tell you invest in it, it's hard shell plastic. 2. Technology: Good, but not top tier. For the price point, i would love to have USB C at least one additional, with the inital data input (where you plug the laptop into. So had this been a solid $100 for the white color, no RGB, please look into full supporting Type-C charging on all ports. 3. Fan Speed: How loud you need it, is how cool it will cool. Follow me on this, the faster you turn the speed, the coling power is inscreased, but it becomes loud. 12-1500 range works very well, while 300 is the ever so slight hum. Funny enough if you really want another idea for thjs item, its a white noise maker. Overall, it has great power. Consider this item, it'll be a worthwhile investment that will last if take. care of. Cheers Amazonian Shoppers, ill see you on the next one.

Noticeable Cooling Performance
This cooling pad makes a noticeable difference in laptop temperatures. After using it, my laptop runs cooler during gaming and other demanding tasks, and the reduction in heat is easy to feel. The fan is powerful, and the adjustable design makes it easy to position the laptop comfortably. Overall, an effective cooling solution that delivers the performance it promises. Iโm very satisfied with the results.

A powerful but defective cooling pad
This cooling could deserve a 5 star if it lasted longer, but now I have to give it 1 star only. I bought this cooling pad on Sept. 5 2024 after watching a Youtube review. This cooling pad is really powerful with its individual power charger. It really can help cool a laptop a lot. I have bought many cheap cooling pads and none of their performances could compete with this one. However, after only 3 months now the cooling pad is no longer working well. The charging cable has a severe connection issue. When plugging the charging cable, the pad should have a green light on at the top right side showing the pad is connecting with the charger. However, the now the light will automatically go off while the pad suddenly stops working. I figured out it was the connecting issue of the charging cable. Now, I have to be very careful not move or touch the charging cable when using this cooling pad. I can accept a cooling pad to fail after one year's use. However, I kept using this pad for only 3 months and it failed charging already. No matter how good its performance it had, this cooling pad already fails charging. For my experience, it is a 1 star product.

It does what it says it will do
18in laptop will cover the entire thing. I do not think this will lower the temperature by 30C, but it does so a great job at keeping my gaming laptop within the "safe" temperature range. Only thing I do not like about this is the power button. It's a pain to locate. Also my USB ports don't seem to charge anything. Maybe I got a faulty one. I didn't buy it for the USB ports so I don't want care. Price is a bit steep, would suggest waiting for it to go on sale. Not worth more than 60usd in my opinion.

Loud and Proud
Look, it is loud - even before it reaches max power. And at Max it is very loud compared to the average laptop cooler. And I am ok with that. Because at the end of the day when I am trying to keep my ancient laptop cool, it does the job, incredibly so because anyone with a ancient laptop knows those burn like a car engine. And the fact this fan can combat makes it a winner in my book. It is sturdy, and the padding holds the laptop well. If you want to keep your laptop cool and don't care about the sound (which personally is honestly not that bad with headphones) then this works well for the cost. Otherwise you will want to look for something weaker.

Love it!
I've been using a cheap small fan I got on Amazon years ago and this in comparison to that is not even a competition especially with how sturdy it is. I wish there was another height it can be adjusted to be taller but I love how fast it cools my laptop.

Works. Keeps GPU and CPU cooler.
The keyboard upper middle would get so hot from running the GPU I almost couldn't touch the area. Very troubling after spending almost $2,000 for the laptop. I tried one of the small 4 fan laptop coolers and it worked but not great. Finally found the Llano and decided to try it. It WORKS. Keeps the laptop cool. Well way cooler than without a cooling pad. Only thing is the noise. I run it at 300 rpm when not gaming and it definitely keeps the keyboard cooler. I run it at 750 rpm when gaming and it keeps the temp stable. this thing runs up to 2,800 rpm but sounds like a banshee. Okay if you are wearing headphones. Just keep in mind the noise when you run at high speeds. BUT, it works.
