Ryzen 5 CPU is a very good starter CPU!
Very good item, performance is good for medium games but only problem is the temperature gets too hot at times when playing certain games or when multiple windows are open, which is fine because this is a ryzen 5 which is meant for light gaming so good for starter CPU or just light gaming in general.

Was worried about getting such a new chip
Everything went flawless. Used a b650m-a msi MB with it and it posted on first boot. My board was flashed to a Feb 2024 bios out of the box and it all came together. I did flash to this months bios because there is specific effort towards optimizing the AMD 8400 and 8700 chips. There was no passmark benchmark info on this Cpu yet but it scored 24800 for cpu tests on a fan heat sink. Definitely recommend. Don't forget this chip has no on board video.

Everything went perfect 28900 for cpu tests on a fan heat sink. Definitely recommend. this chip has no on board video. And that is a good thing. Use a high end video card. Trust me I had to get rid of the 8500G. The on board video make them run much slower when compared to the same CPU without on board video. The 8500G use about half of the CPU processing power to run the on board video. 8400F is perfect.

With the new graphics card too, the processing of AI, for example, is about four times faster. Haven't timed Photoshop processing, but it's obviously much better and other hefty programs load faster. Exactly what was expected.

De 10. Un procesador bueno a abuen precio. Si quieres lo mejor de lo mejor, échale un par de cientos de euros más. Si quieres AM5 a buen precio, este y el 7500f son las mejores opciones. Tengo ambos y este me está dejando mejores resultados.
