Salomon Unisex Active Skin 8, Hydration & Storage Vest with 500ml Flasks Included

Purchased this running vest as I increase my running distances for Triathlon training. The first few times out, I have noticed some plastic taste to the water stored in the flasks. Vest fit is great (XL for 215lb male). Perfect for holding water, keys, phone, and gels (and probably more than I need)

I've used this for about 3 weeks now and have taken it on multiple runs. This thing is so functional, lightweight and comfortable. I also love how the vest closes/latches. The water containers are so great too! 12/10 recommend.

I hesitated purchasing a running vest for years because I didn’t like the idea of running encumbered. But I should have tried it out way sooner. This vest feels like a second skin—lightweight, snug, and doesn’t bounce around, even when fully loaded. It lets me carry enough water to comfortably power through 10+ miles in the Miami heat. The fit is adjustable, the pockets are thoughtfully placed, and I barely notice I’m wearing it once I start moving. Lastly, for the ladies it adds a bit more support while again, staying comfortable. I have yet to experience any chafing from the material. 10/10, highly recommend to anyone on the fence. Your future hydrated self will thank you.

I like that this hugs my chest so well that it moves with me. The pockets also keep everything fixed in place. I was a bit surprised by the elastic strap across chest since it seems so thin and requires a little finesse to hook up, but I am getting used to it and no issues. I am pleased to see a way to insert a camelback-type water bladder, but have not tried it yet. The included sippy water pouches have been sufficient for short runs and pretty convenient on the front of both chest straps. I will probably add a bunch of reflective tape since I sometimes run at night.

Overall I like it. One of the reason I went with it was because of this zipper and slot to secure the phone. After 4 or 5 longer runs, the zipper is done. So I guess if the zipper is your deciding factor, there you go.

Absolutely love this thing and the freedom it gives me to run where I want without pre-planning a route and setting out water. It even works with just one water bottle, though I use my phone in the other pocket to even the weight distribution a little. No interference with my heartstrap, either.

Fit is perfect. I’m 5’6” 120lbs and ordered a size small.

Very Nice vest for running, had a quick try for a 5km and it's not moving I like it! Was looking for something a little bit cheaper, but I'm very happy with my choice! A must have if you plan to run long distance.

Distance 25kms maxi pour moi Ne bouge pas en courant, poches pour portable , clés, anorak et barres protéiné. Les deux bidons fournis sont parfais et facile d'utilisation. J'ai pris la taille indiqué, mais je le trouve un peu juste aux aisselles, même si il ne frotte pas. Je suis satisfait de mon achat.

I've been a lifetime user of Ultimate Direction hydration vests and reluctantly made the switch to Salomon, and now I wish I made the switch earlier. I chose a medium size and it fits so well on me (173cm, 165lbs). The draw string on the front is a real difference maker compared to straps that other brands use. It's very stretchy, so you can have the vest nice and tight on you and there's absolutely no restriction on your breathing. Because of this there is no movement from the vest when out running. The design of the soft flasks being long and thin is genius. Even though they are 500ml each, you don't even know they are there as they slot in nice and snug and distribute their weight over a larger area. Such an improvement over bulky flasks that other brands use. Space wise, you have 2 sizeable mesh pockets on the front which are ideal for storing your running fuel and you also have 1 zipped pocket too. The main part of the bag has plenty of room to store spare clothing, additional food and first aid. There's even a thick pocket in there which would be ideal to store your mobile phone/car keys. This running vest is about as perfect as you can get. It's so flexible that you could use it easily for just a short run or even an ultra. Don't hesitate, go get one!
