I did my research and purchased the Moiswell MP70 after comparing to several other brands and products. It is the right size and offers all the features I needed for a dehumidifier for my crawlspace. It comes out of the box ready to go, all I had to do was put it in place, adjust the feet, hook up the drain line, and plug it in. The built-in pump was one of the main features I was looking for, along with the size and capacity for my large crawlspace. After about a year of use the pump wasn’t working properly so I contacted Moiswell for support. They provided guidance for me to try to diagnose if it was a simple stuck float and after determining it was a faulty pump they replaced the unit. I would highly recommend Moiswell and the Defender MP70, they also have other products depending on your need and exceptional customer service.

I bought this moiswell crawl space dehumidifier almost 2 years ago. I have had other brands but they were loud, noisy and not as much water volume extraction. This Moiswell is very quiet, can not even hear it running from up stairs. I bought a remote monitor since I was not sure it was running since it was so quiet. The best thing I ever did, I can see the humidity down below, the temperature and shows when it’s running and draining! I highly recommend the remote monitor as well. This unit reduces the humidity very fast, 145 pints. I did have the humidity monitor malfunction recently but their service department was very prompt, polite and they are sending me a new sensor, free. Great service! After several other brand purchases Moiswell out ranks them all!

Super impressed with the Moiswell 145 Pint dehumidifier. This is a heavy product so I was concerned with how it might arrive via standard ground shipping. The box that it came was thick cardboard, banded, and heavily taped with zero damage. Unboxing was a pleasure! The unit was packed solid with angle board and Styrofoam leaving it nearly impossible to damage. The unit had no damage whatsoever. I have a large 2300 sq ft. basement so I wanted a quality commercial grade dehumidifier rather than the standard home style. I've had the cheap home versions before and over time they get louder and louder and start to rattle and make obnoxious noises. I certainly don't think that will be the case with this unit. I live in the midwest and it's the middle of winter so not much humidity to extract from my home right not. I'll leave a follow-up review in six months when the dead of summer hits and humidity is high. What I know now from running it for a week is that it's super quiet considering the size and power of the unit and generates very little heat. I hate to jump to conclusions, but I fully expect this unit will perform as advertised and exceed expectations. Everything thus far leads me in that direction and with the 5-year compressor and 2-year parts warranty I feel confident in the unit. Can't wait to put it to the test come July!

So far so good....the real test will be longevity! Set at 45% RH, and monitoring with two wireless sensors this unit has been keeping my crawlspace at about 50% RH throughout, even with >80% RH outside. Customer Support seems responsive. Prior to this I had a cheaper Amazon-purchased upright dehumidifier (Ivation) that worked really well for a surprising 5 years. I am interested to see if the 2x difference in cost makes a difference.

It’s a really nice unit, the only issue I have with it is the drain port is not ready to go for permanent installation. I used a 5/8” tubing from Home Depot with camps and a barbed adapter for the pvc connection.

GREAT PRODUCT! Sturdy, clean, and quiet.This was perfect for my crawl space. Wasn’t noisy and very easy to work with. All the other benefits like auto shutoff are really nice to have and give me the peace of mind to not worry about it at all!

I bought a MP70 dehumidifier and the only reason I am not giving them a 5 star review is because the unit stopped dehumidifying after 11 months. however, i contacted Moiswell support & they were very quick to reply and asked me to do some basic troubleshooting to determine exactly what was wrong with the unit. After I tried the their troubleshooting steps and provided them my results, they determined that the dehumidification system failed and they offered me the following options.In this case, we have 2 following proposals for your consideration:1. A Full Refund: This will be processed via your order and credited back to the bank account used for the purchase.Please confirm that this payment account has not changed recently.2. A Replacement Dehumidifier: We will send you a replacement dehumidifier for free, with delivery within 7 days.If you choose this option, please provide your address and phone number so we can arrange prompt shipment.3. For the old one unit, you don't need to ship it back to us, sorry for the inconvenience.I asked if the replacement unit would be a new unit and if it would carry the remainder of the 5 year warranty. They responed that they only sent out brand new units and that it would still be covered for the remaining 4 years. I opted to have them send a replacement because the unit works really well in my 1795 sq ft basement. I received the new unit, installed it and it is working great.It is hard to get actual customer support these days and I feel like they did a great job and got me a replacement unit without a hassle.
