Itโs a fun thing for my son to use. Is it accurate ๐ฏ? Probably not, you get what you pay for. Itโs an affordable radar to measure whether or not youโre growing or getting faster pitches.

Solid radar gun with two different modes. Easily portable, can be held or set up on the stand. Displays the speed in bright red so itโs easily visible. Kids love it. Going on season 3 (Fl) with the same initial batteries.

Not the worst and priced accordingly
Functional but cheaper electronics like this expect and the plastic mount broke soon after with basic use but fun while it lasted for younger kids and seemed consistent when throwing accurate

Works good up close
Works well when practicing because I can put the radar a couple of feet behind me while catching. Would not record at my daughters games when trying to read from about 10-15โ away when watching

Easy to use! Accurate!
Seems to be very accurate! I am doing a challenge to see how fast I can throw by my 60th birthday and this radar is easy to use.

I DO NOT recommend 50/50
not even close to being accurate. There is no way to calibrate it to be correct. I had a friend drive down the street at 45 mph and the gun either only registered 30 mph on either SS and MS mode. I was standing a few feet of to the side with a direct unobstructed view of a car. If this thing cannot detect a car correctly, how could it even detect a ball at 95 mph? Even having people see me with the radar gun did not slow them down. It is not even a visual deterrent. UPDATE 1-22-26: I decided to test it while driving my car. I was traveling the same speed as the car in front of me. I was surprised that the speed on my speedometer matched what the radar gun displayed. I am not to worried about the police thinking it is a deception tool. They all use Laser guns around here.

Great tool fun to use
My son loves this- I know it is meant to be used to see how fast you throw or hit a ball- but we also use to to see how fast you run, ride your bike and other things. It has been fun for my kids and my husband to test out different things. We tested it with the car and the reading is pretty accurate- or at least as accurate as the car is :-) the one thing is it is a Lilly tricky at first to learn how to get it pointing in exactly the right spot.
