Quantum Heroes Dinoster Simple Fusion Robot - Raptor Tron

This reminds me of the original toys of old from the 1980's, like my first Voltron or my first Macross Strike Valkyrie. I got the same feel when putting this robot together for the first time, and I am well into my 50's. This is a keeper. It's made of high quality plastic, (no Alloy Metal), but it is nice and clicky and will last decades of play. This is a robot tough enough to play with, not only for sitting on a shelf. This is an amazing G1 toy. To make the full Metatron, you will need this blue/green robot (legs/torso), with the red/yellow robot (another legs/torso). The red/yellow deluxe model never seems to be on sale from this vendor) anymore. You may have to go to ebay. The red/green combo deluxe model that is also sold by this vendor is shown in the show officially, but it is really only a torso/torso combo that is held together by special transparent green parts that jury rig this combo into a working robot where the green torso becomes the legs for another robot combo called Chyron. The transparent green parts are only sold with this Chyron red/green combo, so you can't form this model even if you have all of the other 4 robots. It's a way for the merchandisers to sell you another combo and make you double-dip, but it's well worth the money. The red/green Chyron model sold here is not needed to form Metatron and is a "nice to have". But it's really nice! This robot is suitable for all age ranges, from 5 on up to adult. The robot is about 15 inches high, but when totally combined, with all four robots to become Metatron, it's about 17 to 18 inches, and very hefty. If you have the money, get all three deluxe models from this vendor, or on ebay. Blue/green/red/yellow are needed to form Metatron. Also Note: only if you buy the "Complete version" of this set (not here any more--go to ebay), will you get the weapons below--two extra wing extensions for Metatron, the Metatron Sword, the Orange Hammer, and the Blue Crossbow). If you buy the Red/Blue/Yellow/Green separately, or two bots per set, you won't get the above extra weapons. Only the red sword from the red bot, and the green sword from the green bot. Another way for the manufacturer to get you to buy the complete set, right at the start. These deluxe models are worth having for the next generation, and lots of fun and play for decades to come.

Great transformer toys to get for young kids, especially if they have watched and like the show. Not too complicated and my 6 year old quickly was able to transform them, but may be a bit too basic for older kids. He also has the other Stego Blast Wing in the series and so can combine and exchange the two halves of the robots which is pretty cool.
