Installed this carbon fiber short antenna on my 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500, and I am really happy with the result. The install took just a couple of minutes — it comes with everything you need, and the fit was perfect. No tools required, just unscrew the factory antenna and screw this one in with the right adapter. Visually, it makes a big difference. The original antenna was long and awkward, and this carbon fiber replacement gives the truck a much cleaner, more modern look. It also makes it easier to go through car washes without worrying about bending or damaging the antenna. Reception seems unchanged — I still get all my usual FM and AM stations clearly. It may not boost signal strength, but it definitely does not make it worse either, which is all I needed. Would I recommend it? Yes, especially if you want to get rid of the bulky OEM antenna without messing with reception. It is a small upgrade that makes a big visual impact.

Lousy performance on my 2019 Silverado. I compared the stations my factory antenna receives to this one...it picks-up less than a third and those fade in/out just driving around town.

It looks good and works ok. I cant get all of the FM stations in our area. Thankfully I listen To Spotify most of the time
