This has been a great screen-free entertainment option for my pre-k aged child, especially during winter or rainy days when we’re stuck inside and need something different to do. A few things I liked: * Fun variety of experiments * Keeps kids engaged and curious * Easy-to-follow instructions * Good hands-on activity for younger kids I would say this is best used with adult help/supervision for younger children, but that was expected for this age group. Overall, this is a fun and educational option for little scientists and a nice alternative to more screen time indoors.

We’ve had this kit for about 6 months and still haven’t done all of the experiments, so there is definitely plenty to do. My 5-year-old’s review would probably be: “Some are awesome, some are boring.” Honestly, I agree. A few experiments were really fun, while others were a little underwhelming or didn’t give us the results we expected. With my child, parental enthusiasm goes a long way; if I add a little extra pizzazz and make it an event, she enjoys it much more. Overall, I think it’s been worth the money simply because it’s given us a fun, unique way to spend time together indoors (I can only do so much cooking, Barbies, playdoh, dress-up on long rainy/snowy days). While not every experiment is a home run, it’s definitely not the worst way to spend $25 considering almost everything you need is included.
