Good product even though a bit heavier than other models.

Black &Decker is a firm of international repute and so I bought this. They wanted to retain their colour combination of other products on the iron also resulting in not able know the level of water- very bad engineering. Also it doesn't realy deliver the results of cotton ironing as promised. I used to get better ironing with sprying water and ironing with dry iron. The spray- I couldn't make it work. Does it work? Ironing is much better for synthetic pants. Gives very very good crease. Sole plate is very good.

Buy at your own risk! The product is of poor quality that it will not last even in the warranty period. I am writing this after using product for 1.5 years and still within warranty! I have had to get it repaired twice and now the the thermostat has stopped working. And worst of all the customer service is so poor that they have stopped responding, maybe they are afraid that they will have to replace the iron! Have tried to escalate to the senior mgmt but no response... Because of this low quality product I have damaged clothes costing more than the iron itself! Best to avoid this brand and go in for some other one..

It feels very robust to use. The water pourer is very useful in refilling the tank. There is a low steam and high steam option so one can toggle between water usage and ironing. My product's spray doesn't worth though. It doesn't matter to me but it might matter for someone else. Long term review: Exactly 2 years after buying this iron it has stopped working. While it was my first steam iron and I enjoyed ironing with the steam function, I'm going to get a different iron this time.

Value for money But One thing is it leaks water when it is put downward

It is a best iron box in this range. It feels weight and make the ironing easy. The steam toggle button is slightly tight but it's OK as it throws a huge amount of steam. You will enjoy ironing with this black + decker ironing box. It look very good and rich as it build quality is very impressive. If you r a going to buy a iron box under or above 2000 then I will prefer this iron box (Black + Decker 1600W)
