Working much better than plug in traps, about as well as vinegar traps. We have 3-4 or more kinds of gnats this year; regular, small, large and tiny. Theses traps catch lots but not all and mostly the small and regular size gnats, though they do catch some others. They don't seem to catch the gnats that like human breath and fly in into face and eyes. They need to be placed next to areas flies congregate, by fruit or plants, by trash, etc. They did not catch any flies in bedrooms or at desk where we were being attacked by gnats in the face. They are very sticky and will stick to counter, table, or your fingers, trash can, etc. They can be hard to place if there is no support for them, such as high up or side of waste basket. They are made to stick in potting soil only, but I have placed them between fruit where the could be supported, etc. Tying a string around them allows one to dangle higher up. Would buy again. But these will not get every one, you will need other traps, too.

Had a ton of fungus gnats and fruit flies in my plants and around the house. Welp, I can honestly say that there are more on these traps than in my plants now. Once you remove the backing it’s super sticky and does the job. It is water resistant like is says and easy to place in the players. It is also easy on the eyes with the butterfly and flower design. Great purchase and quantity for the money.

WOW!! These really work!! They are incredibly sticky and bugs are absolutely no match for this thing. Sometimes it’s even hard to get them unstuck from your fingers lol. The color is as pictured, traps bugs and keeps them there and are super easy to use. I definitely recommend this for indoor plant use - it has definitely made a difference with our gnat issue.

These work as intended. It’s a little tricky to get it situated without it sticking to the leaves since it’s super sticky! Within a day, I caught a few and haven’t seen any sense. I also used some hydrogen peroxide diluted with water on top of the soil to kill any eggs. It comes with a ton of sticky inserts! So I shouldn’t have to buy any of these for the rest of my life. Haha Might even be worth sharing with friends. Edit- First of all, it was obviously my first time dealing with fungal gnats. This is not a lifetime supply, this seems to be enough to barely get you through one round of taking care of these stupid bugs. Secondly, it’s a bit annoying to remove what you need to in order to expose the sticker. It’s mainly due to the shape. The butterfly ones, no matter how carefully I lift up on the flap, it ends up ripping and it’s a process to get all the little chunks off. Maybe the focus should be less on the cute design and more on the functionality. It would be much more satisfying to pull that white tab and be done. And lastly, the triangular portion that you stick into the soil is pretty flimsy. It can be difficult to get it in the soil while simultaneously trying to keep the leaves from sticking to the sticky part. Maybe if that was more sturdy, it would be easier. Edit- When I wrote my first review, I was new to the experience of fungal gnats. When I said “ I won’t have to buy any more in my life” HaHaHa…. If only. I’ve only had them for a few weeks and I’m going to need more. These are quite the nuisance to get rid of. I still stand by the traps working well in terms of getting the gnat’s attention and sticking to them. However, the inability to pull the tab to expose the sticky part is driving me crazy. I couldn’t care less about the shape of the trap. I just want to be able to set them up with ease. The spiky bubble shape is decent and once in a while, when you pull the tab, the entire sticker comes off, but the butterfly comes apart in about eight different chunks. It’s such a pain in the butt to expose the sticky part. The shape just needs to be designed better. I will be looking for an alternative product, and I’ll be paying attention to the shape of it to hopefully avoid having to work so hard at exposing the sticker.

I had a family gathering in my backyard and decided to use these sticky traps to help with the flies. I was really surprised by how many flies they caught! They worked so well that several of my family members were asking me where I got them. They’re very easy to use, the adhesive is strong, and they stay sticky for a long time. They’re also great for fruit flies and fungus gnats around my plants. Good quality, effective, and a great value for the price. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely buy them again.

I live in Texas and have a LOT of little flying insects that are always around all my house plants. A friend of mine recommed these to me and I am so glad that they did! You get a pack of 48 of these sticky insect traps for a very low price. Well worth it too! You just peal back the film and stick them in the soil like a typical plant spike. I can't believe how many little gnats and other bugs that were stuck to them. In just a couple of weeks I had to change them out. Best thing is I don't see that many flying aroundthe house like I used to before I got these. Well worth the money and I highly recommend them!

I forgot about some bananas and the results are horrible, my traps arrived about a half hour ago and I have just set a few out. By the time I completed setting them where I wanted them, I have already caught a few fruit flies! I should be pest free by Monday the way it’s going! And you get more than enough traps to last all summer long. I’m now thinking of putting some outside to see how well it does outside. (It’s not recommended, but I am curious).

These things show fungus gnats NO mercy. The first picture was taken not even 5 minutes after I popped the little thing in my pot. It caught a fungus gnat a minute. I didn't even realize this plant was so infested! They work VERY well, and very quickly. BUT. they're SUPER sticky, so be real careful not to let the leaves touch them, unless you wanna tear the leaf 🥲 a sacrifice I am willing to make to stop these dang fungus gnats. Also, I saw a lot of comments saying the stickers don't peel off easily, but that hasn't been my experience. They peel off quite easily and in one piece from what I've seen so far. However, the stickers don't quite line up, so the traps stick to themselves. You gotta be careful to make sure you are only holding one, not two stuck together

Bought these as have a bad gnat problem indoors. Perhaps from an infested bag of soil. Over night the 6 or so traps I placed around the house caught so many the traps were coated
