So far, so good!

To begin, yes this dashcam works. No it does not record in 2K or 2.5K, it has audio, that sounds like its been layered and compressed many many times over(it is terrible) so if you are listening to music at any level above low, it will distort to unmaleable quality. Now for my main issues concerning this dashcam, There have been several moments that WOULD have been useful for insurance or to give to police if the camera recorded it like it should have. But it simply didnt. I use the recommended SD card and it is formatted for the camera but the camera simply does not often record unless you connect to its wifi and open the camera and start recording manually... Which is not how it is advertised... and to clarify, I watched 3 people die infront of me and one of the cars involved ran, if the camera was simply working as advertised. I wouldve had useful information to give police but it didnt. Now, after a year of owning it the camera seems to of died... when starting the car and waiting for it to connect to wifi, Ive noticed that there will be times the camera itself refuses to turn on at all, so I literally cannot connect to wifi.... this is a cheap dashcam, if you need something cheap, just use payments and get yourself a garmin or vifo, both will outlast and actually record. This had so much potential, but it's a case of you get what you pay for. First - Wifi is the only way to connect to this thing and that is particularly inconvenient. Second - The constant "Video Is Locked" that comes out of this thing is a level of annoyance that had me almost smashing my own front window out. The help section says that there is a way to turn the volume down or mute the speaker in the app but I cannot find that setting on the camera in the app. Do not under any circumstances set the impact sensor to high. If you fart too close to the car it will "Lock" the video (which by the way just means it is recording and saving the video apparently). Perhaps I can move this up to a 3 - 4 stars if I can get it to stop the annoying voice and then see how much of the SD card it is filling after that. My hope is that it is essentially always "recording" but not actually saving the video until the sensor tells it to. I can say that the picture is very good, so I do hope I don't have to rip it out.

Crap. As they say you get what you pay for. Won’t stay on. Every time I look at it it’s paused. I’m having to constantly reconnect it. I spend so much time looking at my phone to see if it’s not paused I’m going to get in a damn accident. I know now whbb the it’s so cheap.

Rattles profusely from internal components, there's ticks, there's spring sounding noises, and more depending on the road surface. I initially thought it was the wiring or something, traced it to the cam itself, gave it a tap and sure enough it was the same sound.

Was told to buy a larger insert disc and camera would work and record through the night. Not true. It’s not what is being advertised
