Sturdy and easy to assemble
Easy to assemble. Very sturdy. And since I didn't see anything about this in reviews or q&a, the measurement is for the total length of the ladder not the height it will reach when leaning. We made ours stationary so it will not move and it is amazing for kids and adults.

Very sturdy and good value
Assembly was easy - under an hour. Like most of these projects, don’t fully tighten all screws until you have them all threaded to give you some play. With slight sand and a coat of stain, this gives me the look of a library ladder (I purchased wheels and track) for $2000 less. Would reccomend.

Very good staircase--can't beat for the price...
Definitely worth buying. Screws lined up to metal threads for the steps. I thought I was going to have to glue everything together to make sure of the bonds. Not necessary. I cleaned out the holes with a drill, but I don't think I needed to. Just a round file would have done it. Sturdy. Wood plenty strong when all cinched up. Nice support rods that screw everything together. Used it for my wife's new loft. Plenty sturdy. Boom!

Assembly takes a while
It's a nice ladder. Using for a tiny house loft. The machining wasn't the best... holes not a precise lineup to put in screws. I sanded and polyurethaned it.

Assembly is a tough one
Holes don’t exactly line up. So you have to do some drilling and the steps don’t fit in the slotted grooves so it takes some cutting. If you don’t have tools don’t buy
