Worked great for covering a sharp edge on a metal storage shed. We converted one of our sheds into a chicken coop, and used this to protect them from sharp edges where we cut out a door to the run.

My use for this is not the usual, I use it on axe, hatchet, & scythe blades.All these tools work properly when they are "razor sharp".So to protect the edges & specially to prevent injury I slip a piece of this on the edge.First I trim a piece to length, just a bit longer than the edge.Then carefully slip it on so the edge is not exposed.Works great for my use case.I don't know how it works for its intended purpose, I assume it's good for that too, since it works well for me.
