A Good Device For The Elderly
I bought this device for my old dad. He used to love getting a nightly walk in a summers evening, but he is 86 now and his legs are pretty weak. I bought the under desk bike exerciser so he could sit and build up his legs when he was watching TV. He has been using it for a fortnight,--------two 1/2 hour sessions per day and this machine has made a big difference to his leg strength. He is able to walk a kilometer/mile every night, and is happier than I've seen him for a while. He also has heart disease, and uses this machine on the lowest resistance setting. So far it hasn't given him any heart issues. All in all, an excellent device for the elderly, especially for weak legs. One of my better purchases.

Great product but a Flawed SUNNY
Would love to give my black Sunny 5, as its making a huge difference to my health & reducing my lymph issue - swollen feet & ankle & I know in time my thighs & cellulite, but it has major flaws. First the manufacturers reversed the pedals (left in right & right in left side)! Second, I almost gave up trying to put Sunny together, except am a DIYer & had a handy tool to price the screws apart (many others have commented here & it's true). Third, the counter works with batteries but has no back cover and sadly one of the batteries with movement fell inside the frame, with No access to retrieve it. Hopefully battery does not leak in time. Cannot comment on counter which has time, steps, calories & one other? It did work but the week I used it before battery fell off I could not figure functions out. Fourth it loves wondering around as you pedal. The plastic footings on each of the 4 corners badly designed as it does not grab anything to keep bike in situ. It's fine I got used to it, but one seems to slide off settee as the bike moves further away from you. The Straps are fine, it was so hard to add initially. Once in place I decided it was not worth the hassle to keep changing for my tiny feet. One Tip, keep feet on pedals towards the outside edges as this makes turning the pedals smoother. It works OK with some effort due to the above. Am grateful nonetheless for this sweet looking machine. If manufacturers sort out the above design/flaws, am pretty sure nobody would want for anything else. Do I recommend it? My heart says yes coz of benefits I am already seeing, cycling 1.5 hours a day when chatting on phone or reading (harder to read & cycle).

Cheap exercise for the legs, but not very smooth operation.
Cheap price and not too big, but fairly sturdy. Not sure if it's just the one I received, but each half turn of the pedal it feels like it gets stuck and you have to put extra pressure on it before it eases. So NOT smooth cycle action at all. But at least it should help exercise the muscles at reasonably cheap price, so can't complain too much.

Sturdy and easy to use
This is a solid piece of kit which stays put on the carpet in use. I bought it to help my husband improve his mobility and leg strength following a stroke and he enjoys using it. I like the fact that the tension knob means you can change the difficulty level to suit the fitness of the user. I was a bit worried about having to put it together myself, but the instructions were very clear and I just took it slowly, step by step. It was much more straightforward than I expected. The most fiddly thing is setting the digital gadget which displays speed, distance, time etc. as it seems to default to scanning mode each time it starts up, but a double press on the red buttons when the arrow is on the one you want permanently displayed for that session seems to do the trick.

A good machine but has it faults
Only had the mini bike exerciser for 2 weeks but feel it is already strengthening my legs because I have been able to gradually increase the tension up to maximum but at maximum the machine slides across the floor even on a rubber mat and with a 6kg weight behind it. I feel frustrated that I cannot increase my fitness because I have to turn the tension down quite a bit to stop it sliding. The digital display words are so tiny I can't read them even with a magnifying glass. The numbers are fine but not the words. I have to go by the numbers to try to work out which function is being displayed. Not ideal. My eyesight may not be 20/20 but I don't need glasses even to read. Another problem is the warranty is only valid for machines purchased in the USA not the UK.

Great
Reasonably light. Needs a yoga mat to prevent it moving on a smooth floor. Tricky to put pedals on, one screw was so hard I had to get a guy to help. Works well

Works great...glad I bought it!!
I was excited to get this in the mail! It was easy to put together and I have arthritis in my hands as well as poor strength (not many steps were needed to put together and it cam with tools). I live a sedentary lifestyle and I was wanting to be more active, but start gradually. I experience random knee pains, muscle fatigue in legs, hip pain, and othe msculoskeletal problems. I use this cycle 3-4 times a week sometimes more and it has helped me with my mobility as well as reduce joint pains and muscle fatigue. After reading all of the good reviews on this product, I decided to give it a try. I had planned on buying a $20-$30 cycle, but found low ratings and poor quality. So this is the one I went with and I am so glad I did. This cycle does not slide like many have commented on. I use it on carpeted floors, but I don't keep it on high resistance...usually 2-3 setting. This cycle is a bit on the heavy side, but it is easily transported by the convenient handle. I started out using the bike on "2" and it was very fluid without any problems. The readout is easy to read ( although I wish it had a light to read at night or in darker areas). It is extremely quiet!! I don't use the feet straps, but my feet do not slip at all. I have no other cycles to compare this item to other than the stationary vertical and horizontal bikes I have had in the past. This bike by far surpasses those other bikes because it doesn't irritate my groin area or put my back in an awkward position and cause back pain and fatigue. My only problem is finding a "comfortable" chair to use this with. For now I simply have a folding chair and that works fine and supports my spine. I would rather use a recliner, but that would probably not be good for my back because I use the cycle for 30-60 minutes at a time...usually while watching tv or taking a break from housework. If you are in search of a quality lower body floor cycle, this is a great investment

Good product
This unit is on the heavier side, but that’s a good thing. it feels solid and has beefy internal components that should last a long time. Before this, I tried two other brands/models. One had such weak tension it felt like I was just moving my legs through air—completely useless. The other had more tension, but when I checked inside, I realized it was just a spring with cloth pressed against the flywheel. Honestly, that looked like a fire hazard if I used it long enough! definitely not something I felt safe with. That’s why I went with this Sunny Health model with magnetic tension. The resistance feels smooth, reliable, and safe. Maybe it could use a little more tension, but honestly, if it had much more I’d probably just end up kicking it away while pedaling. Overall, it’s exactly what I was looking for and definitely worth buying.

Good adjunct to exercise knees after surgery.
good portability. Great for quick spin to get knees loosened out after surgery. Can be used for hands, but have not tried that.
