These lights can be amazing for the right purposes!
I purchased these light for the intention of my patio. I wanted lights that were not overly bright as I like to use my patio to look at the stars. The lights themselves are deceptively small on a very thin wire that attaches to the solar pack. I bought 4 sets of 33 ft lights. I have had lights similar to these I had bought at the dollar store during Halloween about 8 years or so ago. I had a ton of these small ones in different colors and I use them in strange places because they are battery packed light. I have loved these types of lights for a long time and thought it would be cool to not have to replace a battery all the time. These little cheap lights did not disappoint! When unboxing them and going to put them where you want them the most important thing to remember is to NOT unwind them. Unwind and secure as you go otherwise you will end up with a hot mess of tangled wires. It can be extremely frustrating to try to do this. I have stored my old lights on a small piece of cardboard when I wanted to move them or for storage. This simple step will save you a lot of time not arguing with the wires. Pros: these take almost 0 space for storage. They come in a billion colors and you could use them for any holiday or no holiday at all. They are light weight and you can use them to brighten a wreath, or put them in your car to light up floor boards and place the solar pack in your back window. I have a pack under my car that I taped to a grease mat in the garage and fed the pack outside of the garage door and have them on flash mode to keep mice and rats away. I can run them over and they don’t break They are easy to hide. You don’t have to use heavy mounting hooks and could use a million different kind of ways to fasten them. From plain scotch tape to putty to gum if you really wanted to. They are cheap! You don’t have to place the in the solar pack in the ground as a single 3m Velcro sticker will hold it. They are so versatile and add a bit of elegance without much effort. The light don’t break. The lights don’t burn out. I have had the ones in the cat box for close to 10 years and they still work perfectly. They are beautiful and give off enough light you could use them instead of Xmas lights on your house. You could even just leave them up and just turn them off because they are almost invisible during the day and if you tuck them in well they will still have a beautiful glow even under eves or gutters. They are literally free to have on. Cons: they tangle if you are not careful when you unwrap them. If the do get tangled and you start twisting them you can break the wire and ruined them. I have lost them after storing them and forgetting to label the box well because they are so small. I can’t recommend these lights enough. Every diy and crafty person should have a bunch of these. If you want the smaller ones you can grab them at the dollar tree. Just so you know. But I am now I love w the solar ones!

Being creative Beautiful
These are very nice little lights. I wanted a solar gazing ball. I looked on line and they were $70.00. Ridiculous!! So I bought a 2 pack of these warm white lights and threaded both strands into the gazing ball I already had filling it up. Worked perfecty It turned out beautiful.😍 Highly recommend them. Great battery life so far. Solar cord length is pefect for tall stands. BUY IT!!

Really good lights - work very well outdoors, not affected by rain.
These have been a great addition to our back yard. The wires are very very thin and the lights are barely visible when they aren't lit. When wound around shrub or a wooden deck post they're virtually invisible during the day. I put two on shrubs in our garden, and wrapped the others around two tall deck posts - they look so cozy and have added a lot to our yard all summer long! They work great even during hot humid summer weather and through some heavy rain storms. Fun addition to some other colorful solar lights we have. The solar charging pads can be set in the sun by themselves or attached to the included stakes to be placed sturdily in the ground or wedged into a shrub. They don't need a full day's bright sun, either. A couple of them get shade half the day and stay sufficiently charged to shine bright all night. I mostly keep them on the constant steady on mode - although a couple of them are on twinkling lights mode, which isn't too annoying. There's several modes including one that glows brighter, then dims, then repeats. Great for outdoor decor, parties, events, Weddings.

Solar lights work well, amazingly bright but NOT when Christmas lights are on near solar panel
Bought the Brightown solar fairy lights for our palm trees. Charged the solar panels in the sun. Took time to carefully unwind the copper wire so as not to tangle as other reviews posted. I posted the solar panel, started from the bottom of the palms unwinding the copper light strands slowly as I was winding them up around the palms. This worked well, no tangles. Reasonably, it is copper wire so it can get stuck in a bend and catch the wire going the other way. I also gently wound the copper wire with fairy lights around a bungie cord near the top or before the palm leaves (see photo to keep the lights in place) and then came back down the palm trees so as to double up for brighter lights (see photos). The lights did not turn on as the sun set. Clicked and double clicked the ON/OFF button, nothing. The solar lights DID come on when we turned the panels upside down to trouble shoot. We have dark smooth river rock in our palm trees. We figured out that our Christmas lights impact the solar panel sensor. Sensors must sense the Christmas lights mistakenly for daylight and not turn on. Logically, the solar panels work when our Christmas lights are off. Worth the money, plenty of light, joyful, ease of set up and use, bring ambiance and they stay bright evening to morning and they are solar. I am ordering more. (My sweetheart originally said that he thought I should return these lights because he thought they would not be very bright. He loves them! We took down the Christmas lights after New Years and left the Brightown solar fairy lights up on the palm trees for ambiance and entertaining.) NOTE: 1) Unwinding the copper wire in a consistent manner keeps wire from tangling. 2) We doubled up the lights by back tracking, however, the little fairy lights are quite bright so we may wind them up the palms in a single strand next time assuming they unwind easily and can be stored and reused. 3) The solar lights did not turn on with the panel facing up while the Christmas lights are on. The solar panels are impacted by other lights mimicking daylight. Either turn the panel upside down or turn off the Christmas lights or other lights. We opted for upside down solar panel so we can enjoy all the lights. 4) There are different modes of twinkling or flashing and solid. We chose solid lights. 5) We can see the lights from 2 blocks away or approx. 300-400 yards away. Impressive for tiny lights! 6) After New Years I wound the solar fairy lights (4 strands) around a large empty plastic sparkling water bottle (photo). I used blue tape to keep the strands separate and in place once they are completely wound. This worked well for storage and for when I laid them out and wound them around the columns this year. We love these lights.

Genuinely impressed with the solar.
I’ve reviewed numerous led light sets and these cheap sets have always worked better than you’d think but this set in particular has impressed me. After a heavy storm in the morning we ended up getting these lights onto another product I’m reviewing (garden arch and it’s great) later in the afternoon and it stayed pretty overcast the rest of the day. So essentially these lights got minimal sun for maybe five hours and they only just turned off as the suns coming up. I have solar lights all over the yard and none were still on but these. As for longevity, time will tell and I’ll happily return to this review to update it if anything odd happens (Its what I do) but in my experience these cheap light sets usually last way longer than you’d expect so we shall see. But for the price if they last through the summer I’m happy so there’s that anyway. Plastic construction on the solar panel but I’ve not had any issues with any of the other sets I have with this exact same solar panel and I’ve used one for over a year now but again, if it becomes an issue I will happily update. I do wish there was more protection on the wires as they are essentially exposed but again, I have numerous sets just like this in different packaging that have been fine so it’s sorcery for sure but it does seem to work somehow. I’m pretty impressed with this set, you’re definitely going to win people over with the price and functionality. I paid for this set and I’ll pay for another if the need arises.

Beautiful But Frustrating!!!
First of all, I should have intentionally looked at the negative reviews but because the percentage was small I didn’t bother (hard lessons learned). My first delivery was great. Copper wires brand new, nicely rolled, lights working etc. However nothing prepared me for the tedious TWO HOUR detangling that took place. I wanted so bad to give up but I hate starting projects and don’t finish them, so I took a deep breath and weathered the storm. I had half a side done but did not turn on lights again because I wanted to have the other side completed before I officially turned the fairy lights on. I placed another order - did the pre-testing like the first pair. This time when they arrived this pair looked ‘used’ (bent up like it was a return item). I attached a photo but photo doesn’t capture how bad it was in reality. I had no patience to do a replacement and since the lights worked I went ahead and set it up. Another TWO hours detangling just like the first pair. With neither pairs did I get rough with the copper wire; no matter how inpatient I felt. I don’t like my time wasted, so I was extremely careful. FINALLY everything was set up and I turned on the fairy lights setting the rhythm. Lights were beautiful, bright and sparkly. However, I thought it could stand to be a bit ‘warmer white.’ It’s fall and I didn’t want it to look like Christmas yet; but the lights being tiny made it forgivable. Just ONE NIGHT of success and they stayed lit all night until about 6am then they cut off. SECOND night they started off bright then slowly got faint in brightness with one side completely cutting off by 10pm and other side clearly fading out and cut off in the 1am hour. I don’t know what you guys do in manufacturing but I doubt you use the sun to make these fairy lights that bright & long lasting starting off - just from reading negative reviews. Ppl have them in direct sunlight and they’re not lasting neither brighter than my lights, so I can’t blame this on not enough sun. Four hours of my precious life I will never get back installing these lights. My gut is telling me to return them all while the window is still open - rather than try to replace them. I honestly don’t have it in me to do exchanges and try to deal with the wiring all over again just for it to end up the same way. I thought this was great value for quality lights and I was wrong. I’m so bummed☹️. Three stars just because they’re pretty.

Great Product with Excellent Customer Service!
These solar string lights are fantastic! I used them to decorate our trees, and they create a beautiful warm glow. The 8 lighting modes are a nice touch, and they’ve held up well in the weather. I did have an issue with one of the units, but the customer service team responded quickly and took great care of me. It’s always reassuring to know a company stands behind their product. Overall, I’m really happy with the purchase — they look great, work great, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend!
