The RGB light strip was defective right out of the box! Poor quality control.
This is for the RGB version with included remote and controller. The item arrived defective and did not work. There are several problems with this product. The DC barrel connection is loose in the controller, I tried several different 12v 5amp adapters and the plug is loose. Only about half of the LED's light up even with the DC plug fully inserted. Neither the included remote control or the buttons directly on the controller work. The on/off button on the controller doesn't even work. Poor quality control.

Fantastic lights horrible mounting brackets and screws
The lights are fantastic however the mounting brackets are horrible or more specifically I should say the screws that hold the mounting brackets are trash. First of all there are not enough mounting brackets and second of all the screws that hold them in place I snapped the heads off more than half of them just tightening with my hand.

so far so good at 30 days. I am a little surprised that most of the negative reviews refer to power supply Not being included...the description clearly states that there is no power supply. This is the best way to purchase with a 12V power supply costing > $10...in my case as with others connecting to 12 V on boat/vehicle so best to not buy power supply. anyway, time will tell as to whether product lasts over time. it looks great and magical!
