A thing of beauty
For me, the whole point of buying an expensive box set is to have a thing of beauty which, with good attention, should last a lifetime. This is one such box. The love for the artist and the respect for his music shines through. The box itself is quite stunning. The sleeves/inner sleeves are top notch and the records themselves come in poly-lined inners. The vinyl is beautifully pressed; it’s flat and clean. Virtually no surface dust needed to be removed prior to playing. And so to the sound. Faultless, no crackles or pops. I only had ATMP, Cloud 9 & Brainwashed before buying this set so there has been plenty of ‘new’ music for me to discover and I haven’t had the chance to immerse myself with multiple plays as yet. There are a few dud tracks here and there but that goes for anyone with a 10+ album back catalogue. Wonderwall was a pleasant surprise and very enjoyable. The 2 picture discs were a nice bonus. A book, in a similar vein as the one in the Queen LP box set would have been marvellous. But it would seem churlish to deduct a star for this omission. The set is superb.

A Beautifully Compiled And Produced Vinyl Box Set.
As a long time George fan (a member of his fan club in the late 70's) who bought most of these LPs first time around, this is an absolutely gorgeous and beautifully assembled collection. While not particularly being a fan of digital remasters cut to vinyl, the clarity and quality of the cuts are superb. Background is super-quiet. Comparing All Things Must Pass here to my mint 1st pressing from 1970 is revelatory - lifting the veil on the Spector production to hear distinct instruments within the Wall Of Sound. Brainwashed has a depth that is missing from CD and is all the more coherent for it.However, the most striking feature here is how George's personality benefits from being collected together in one package - positively seeping from the box in abundance. A beautiful package - well done Dhani!

Wow, great quality
What can I say a premium product that lives up to its claim of quality, from the packing all the way through to the way the vinyl is made. If you are a fan, then this is a must.

Fantastic box set.
Absolutely stunning. Really heavy duty box set. Amazing detail in the reproductions of the sleeves and inserts. George has never sounded better, and I do feel that a lot of his albums have come in for some unfair criticism down the years. "Gone Troppo" for instance is always slated.....but I think it's a great little album. I was lucky and got it a few weeks ago from Amazon for 205 pounds....the price at the moment is 350....and that would make me think twice. But hey...you can't take it with you so if you can afford it and you love George get it!

Wow !
A beautifully box set with such great attention to detail. All the LP's are individually sealed (similar to the Beatles box sets) and are heavy180g pressings which are housed in poly lined sleeves alongside the original inner sleeves which are included but not used. All relevant posters and books are included. The sound quality from a random sample is superb also. The exclusive picture discs are housed in their own box inside.A very nice item and very pleased to own this. Highly recommended. The packaging from Amazon was also of a very high order minimising the risk of damaging this very heavy box set.

Great Product..."now"!
Great Box set, finally someone did correctly. Now what about a proper Brainwashed Lp.Harrison said he wanted to make an on the spotalbum, without overdubs or enhanced effects.Yet after his passing Jeff Lynn went againstHarrison's wishes & "behold" overdubs & addedmusicians. Harrison's son did add some guitarwork, which was fitting. But Mr.ELO just couldn'tkeeps his over production mitts off. Brings a newmeaning to "what are friends for".

This box is a wonderful job both in presentation and content to the delight ...
Regardless of a career with ups and downs and not all albums are of the highest level, the legacy of George Harrison is very important for the understanding of international popular music in the second half of the twentieth century. This box is a wonderful job both in presentation and content to the delight of all fans as well as for those who enjoy good music.
