Excellent Battling Top Set – My Kids Are Hooked and the Launchers Actually Add Power
I bought the INFINITY NADO Gale Wings battling set for my 9-year-old twins who are into spinning top games. This set stands out because of the sword-style launchers. Unlike basic ripcords, the sword launcher lets you wind it up and release with more force, which genuinely makes the tops spin faster and hit harder in battle. The tops themselves are well-made with good weight distribution and nice detailing. The Gale Wings design looks cool and performs consistently. We’ve had multiple battles on the living room floor and even outside on the patio. The tops stay in the arena longer than cheaper sets we’ve tried, and the collisions feel satisfying without breaking easily. What I like most is that it encourages strategy — my sons experiment with different launch angles and timing. The set includes everything you need to start battling right away. After a few weeks of heavy use (probably 20+ battles), the launchers and tops are still holding up well with no major wear. Pros: Sword launchers give noticeably more power than standard ripcords Durable enough for daily kid use Engaging for 8–12 year olds (and parents who get pulled into battles) Good value for a full battle set Cons: The arena isn’t included (you’ll want a flat surface or buy one separately) Tops can occasionally fly out of smaller play areas Overall, this is one of the better non-Beyblade battling top options we’ve tried. Satisfying for a 6yo boy.
Grandson (6 yo) loved it! Best with two swords so he can “battle” someone, but plenty entertaining all by itself.
