A Bold Return to Form for Black Ops Fans
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 delivers exactly what long-time fans have been asking for — fast, responsive gameplay and a fresh campaign that actually feels worth playing. The return to a gritty, Cold War-inspired setting gives the story a nostalgic but modern edge, and the cinematics are top-tier. Multiplayer feels tighter and better balanced than the last few entries, with classic maps reimagined beautifully. The new “Omnidirectional Movement” system makes combat fluid and unpredictable, adding real depth to engagements. Zombies Mode is another highlight — absolutely packed with replay value, smart progression systems, and satisfying weapon customization. Performance is stable even on launch, and graphics across next-gen consoles are some of the best the series has delivered. It’s a reminder of why Black Ops has always stood out in the COD universe. A must-buy for both returning players and new recruits.

Next-Level Action and Thrills!
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War 6 on PS5 is hands down one of the best shooters I’ve ever played. The game has taken everything I love about the Call of Duty series and elevated it to new heights. From the breathtaking graphics to the intense gameplay, this game is a true next-gen experience! The visuals are absolutely stunning. The PS5’s power brings the game to life with crisp textures, incredibly detailed environments, and realistic lighting effects that make every battle feel immersive. Whether you’re in a dense jungle or a futuristic city, the attention to detail is amazing, and the game runs flawlessly with fast load times thanks to the PS5's SSD. The gameplay is everything you want from Call of Duty. The mechanics feel tight, responsive, and fast-paced, which is perfect for the high-octane action the franchise is known for. The new guns and gadgets add fresh tactics to the gameplay, and the maps are perfectly designed for both casual and competitive play. The Warzone integration is a nice touch, giving you even more variety and hours of fun with the free-to-play battle royale mode. The campaign is a cinematic thrill ride, with an engaging storyline that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The plot is filled with unexpected twists and adrenaline-pumping moments, while the voice acting and character development bring the story to life. And let’s not forget the multiplayer, which remains one of the most fun and competitive experiences in the gaming world. The DualSense controller on the PS5 enhances the experience with its haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, giving you a real sense of immersion during combat—whether you're firing a gun, throwing a grenade, or driving a vehicle.

Incredible Game – Don’t Let the Negative Reviews Fool You!
Call of Duty®: Black Ops 6 for the PlayStation 5 is an absolute blast! From the moment I booted it up, I was blown away by the stunning graphics, fast-paced gameplay, and compelling storylines. The developers have clearly put a lot of effort into crafting an immersive experience that feels fresh yet familiar to longtime fans of the franchise. The multiplayer is as addictive as ever, with new maps, modes, and weapons that keep the action exciting. The game runs smoothly on PS5, with virtually no loading times and stunning 4K visuals that make every detail pop. Zombies mode? Absolute perfection. It’s packed with challenges and Easter eggs that’ll keep you coming back for more. I noticed some negative reviews complaining about minor issues, but honestly, I think they’re nitpicking. Every game has its quirks, but nothing here has hindered my enjoyment. Plus, the developers have been great with updates, addressing feedback quickly. If you’re hesitating because of the bad reviews, don’t. Black Ops 6 delivers everything you’d expect from a Call of Duty title and more. Whether you’re a solo player or love teaming up with friends, this is a must-have for any FPS fan.

A mixture of Tom Clancy, the last of us and Cheech and Chong ...
I’ve played most of the COD games throughout my gaming life finding most good, entertaining games which were well worth playing. Thankfully, this is up there with the better games in the range… not the best, but it’s up there. This has a single player campaign which I'm reviewing here. Not the other parts which download and download and download … The game itself is a first-person shooter and puts you in as one of the few fighters within your team throughout the game… you’re never the same person, but most of the game you play as William ‘Case’ Calderon … a character who has a lot to hide and a lot to remember. Anyway, the plot … Someone has created a bioweapon and is about to let it loose over a high populated area … but who, what and where? And that’s where you and your team come into play … The 11 missions … There are eleven missions in total, each one so different to the previous and the next one, yet all unravelling to bring a pretty good story all told. The missions consist of fighting in Kuwait, raiding a palace, fighting more soldiers than you can count, playing cards, hacking computers, picking locks and more … using knowledge as well as all you fire power. You even play some missions which a hippie from the 70’s would say “I was there.” There’s a massive collection of weapons, from a bat to a mini gun, and so many in between, and there’s plenty of ammunition to be found… and, in many of the missions, you’re going to need it. Throughout the game, at the end of each mission, you have the chance to upgrade your ‘abilities’ – firepower, armour and more, by buying things at one of the three stations you set up in your base. To do this you need money, which you have to find throughout the game, stealing, I mean, collecting bundles of cash as you go along. Then, when you’re back at base, you can buy things to upgrade your abilities. So keep an eye out for any money you come across and grab what you can. There are several stages where you need brains over brutality, such as hacking computers, picking locks and deciphering codes to get through doors. But you’ll pick it up as you go along. Just like you do with the money lying about. In all, this is a fine addition to the COD saga. The story runs along at a good pace, with each mission telling it in its own way. Others making you wonder what the creators were drinking when they ran with their ideas, but the 11 missions bring the entire story together. With an ending which lets you know there will be another game coming from this one. The graphics are exceptional, as is playability, with smooth actions throughout. The missions are well thought out and entertaining to play, although at times a little too easy, especially on the lower difficulty levels. Downside… It takes an eternity to download, but most games like this are the same, download, update, download some more and then … update again … before you can start playing. It’s akin to the 1980’s game loading when the games came on cassette tape and installed with the speed of a snail on greased paper. Plus… You do have to have an online connection to play this game, which is a little bit of a bit of a nuisance if your internet goes down. But this seems standard with COD games these days. Note There are the usual Multi-player, zombie options on this game but, as I’ve said, I’ve just reviewed the single player campaign itself. As for the price, when first released this was selling for between £60 - £70. Thankfully, as time goes by, with most games like this, the price drops. I got this for less than £25 which is not bad value for what it offers. Not bad value at all.

Wow, Fantastic, Best Call of Duty game ever
I can only say WOW and How amazing this game is the Campaign and Zombie in my opinion one of the best Call Of Dutys games in a very long time. Highly recommended. The Campaign Storyline is very amazing and gripping and is based in 1991 and the main menu UI is so clean and tidy. The graphics are amazing and looking forward to seeing what the game looks like on the PS5 Pro. The levels are are brilliant and you get to customise the main mansion base where your based while not on mission. Highly recommended. It deserves more than 5 stars. There's 10 levels it took me about 10 hrs to complete maybe longer. Storyline was also very exciting. Graphics were really good to. Zombies was amazing definitely back to nearly orginal that came out on the PS4. I throughly enjoyed Zombies which I haven't done for a few years now which is nice. Not tried the multiplayer yet. Highly recommended for any Call Of Duty Fan.

Brilliant game. Black ops and MW combined
There’s been a lot of slack for this game from people playing the beta. However, I personally think this is a great game so far. I’ve not been able to play a lot of it, but what I have seems to be very smooth so far. The new omnimovement is brilliant, very smooth gameplay, albeit, will take some time to adjust and master. The multiplayer maps are slightly bland at the moment, but will need some time to get used to them. Visually the game is brilliant and is very much giving me Black ops 3 vibes with a hint of the MW series. (Without the jumping all over the walls). The sounds are amazing, very crisp and realistic weapon sounds. I’ve not had a chance to touch Zombies as of yet, but looks very similar to Cold War zombies and the ability to level up multiplayer weapons and rank etc. So far from the small gameplay I have experienced. I have really enjoyed it. Definitely worth a go if you enjoy the Black ops series.
