PINCNEL Women Backpack Purse Waterproof Nylon Anti-theft Rucksack Lightweight Shoulder Bag

I bought this bag to function as a purse in the city that can also transform (with comfort) for any daytime excursions. I chose the larger bag because I will carry art supplies and water bottles inside it. I chose the black nylon option because I figured if there is wear-and-tear it won't be as noticeable as a bag with PU leather. I checked tons of reviews for bags and chose this one due to 1.) size and safety features, 2.) comfort level provided by backpack style conversion and 3.) quick delivery and overall positive feedback on design, functionality, and no reported bad odor (I saw so many bags with terrible odor reviews). It arrived as promised, and the bag was well packaged. First impressions: immediately love the texture and sleek appearance of the bag. The straps seem sturdy and the inside looks like it will fit my day-to-day needs while traveling well. This isn't an expensive bag, so I have realistic expectations on how much to expect for a 30-something dollar purchase. I haven't used it yet, so all of these photos are upon immediate opening. The zipper is something to consider if you are a person who likes to dig in a bag quickly to retrieve items, this might not be the best bag for you-or if you do need to so that, perhaps have another small cross body pouch for items that you will need at immediate retrieval. My zipper seems to track well, but I can update my review after use. I will share photos now. I have included photos of HOW much I could fit in the bag with room to spare. I have two 8.5x5.5inch sketchbooks, 1 large wallet, toiletry bag filled with small skincare items, large keychainn sunglass case with large sunglasses, cliff bar, umbrella, water bottle, paintset, external charger, and earphones. It didnt bulge the bag or make it uncomfortable. So far so good! Very happy with this buy!!!

At first, when looking for a bag I was looking for something to replace my mini backpack because I needed more space and something that could carry more. When I found this and bought it I got everything I was looking for and more. I absolutely love the safety feature that it has for the big pocket as the small backpack I used to have and take everywhere with me didn’t have it and whenever I was walking past people I would hold the zipper down so no one could open it 😂 yeah, I was always alert because I didn’t want anyone to steal from my backpack. But with this one, I don’t really have to worry about that because I keep the most important things on the main big pocket which when wearing the backpack goes on my back and no one can open it while I’m wearing it. So, I feel more comfortable walking around with it. As for the storage, I got a size Medium and I got it in black. It’s not even the large size and can fit so much. In this backpack sometimes I’ve put things like moisturizer and facial cleanser (not the small bottles), headphones, a charger, glasses case, retainers, pills or pill organizer, a little bag that I put in the pocket it has on the flap that has the zipper which takes up the whole space of the pocket, hair brush, comb, little containers with items, and more. And it holds all of it! Of course, it looses its slim look but it doesn’t even look bulky because of the way it’s designed. It has great height inside, I think you could maybe even fit an apple tablet in it. For traveling it can also be pretty good, you can take it anywhere. The design is cute and simple. As for durability I would say it’s pretty good! I’ve had this backpack for over a year and it doesn’t have any wear and tear or scratches and nothing has broken so far nor is anything close to breaking. Overall I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a backpack for travel or for taking anywhere that’s nice, versatile, has great storage capacity and is secure. If anyone wants to get it for school I wouldn’t really recommend the medium as it won’t be able to fit everything you need to take to school. Maybe a large would work for that but I wouldn’t know as I have a Medium. Anyways I hope this review was helpful to you! I hope you have a nice day/evening/night!

This bag exceeded all my expectations!!!!! I wanted a bag that is secure, versatile, stylish, and with a lot of pockets. This bag has all of that and more. It is perfect for everyday use, especially for going out to places like Six Flags Magic Mountain. I have taken it to Six Flags already and didn’t feel the straps hurting me like other bag straps that dig in to my shoulder and leave a mark for carrying it all day. I thought the straps were comfortable, sturdy and didn’t hurt me at all. The only thing is, I wish the single shoulder strap was adjustable to make it longer so I can wear it as a cross body shoulder bag- that would be my only complaint. Anyway, I do like how versatile and stylish the bag is by wearing it as a backpack or hand bag. I have gotten many compliments on it when I go out with it. I did take the bag onto a wet ride at 6 flags called Roaring Rapids and water did splash on it (since my whole body got soaked and I used the bag to cover my face) I was a bit worried about my things being wet but when I checked everything was still dry inside- so I guess it is waterproof! The material of the bag does not feel cheap which is surprising because of how much the bag costs. It is exactly like how it looks in pictures. It has plenty of pockets, with two being hidden in the front which I thought was neat because it is roomy and you can’t even tell there’s pockets there! It definitely is lightweight and spacious; I can fit a lot of things in there without it feeling too heavy. I feel safe carrying it around without worrying about people trying to open my bag without me knowing. I think this bag is very well designed and expect it to last me more than a year with everyday use. When I first received it, it had a strong odor from the tea bag that smelled really good but it faded after while so it didn’t bother me. I liked how the seller left a tea bag, thank you note, passport book and the fluffy ball key chain. I thought it was really cute and thoughtful that they included that. This bag was so cute that even my sister thought it’s features were amazing. So, I bought a small sized one for her (: and she liked it so much that she’s going to get the large size one for school.

I was intrigued by the back opening but am sold on it! The only access into the main compartment is via the zippers that lay along your back when worn, so it takes the worry out of pickpockets in a crowded area. The 2 side zip pockets are great for chargers or small items, and your important things stay safe inside the big pouch. I do wish that the 2 exterior water bottle sleeves had an elastic gusset, as it can get snug to get even a slim water bottle into it. Those pockets are, however, perfect to hold a collapsible trekking pole, making it convenient for day hikes. I got the larger size and don't regret that choice. It does hold a lot for the size, and seems to hold up well when traveling thru and airport or tossing it into the car. Straps are fairly comfortable, but would be more functional if they could detach at the bottom to make it more of a sling bag. If the purse-style shoulder strap was adjustable, it would be perfect. Even with the minor items I mentioned (which are truly just preferences), I think it's a good value for the price.

I just received this bag, and I'm so impressed I had to leave a review. It really is a nice looking bag, and the size is perfect. Just enough for all your everyday essentials, and maybe even some more. The quality of the bag seems good, the zippers all look well made and work great. The hidden zipper side pockets will be great to throw those items in you want to quickly access, like phone and keys. I didn't think I'd like the fluffy little attached keychain, but it's actually cute, not too much fluff and just adds a little extra style. It doesn't bother me, but as some other reviews mentioned it may be made of real fur so take note if that's a concern. Also, as others mentioned it was a nice added touch that it showed up with a scented sachet and smelled good, not that funky smell like some new bags can sometimes have. The only con I can see is that with the straps in the back, it does add a little difficulty in accessing the main compartment. But to me, that's worth it for the added security of the main pocket being against your back, and the ability to use as a backpack. Also, the side 'water bottle' type compartments don't fit any of my aluminum bottles. But those are just small inconveniences, it doesn't make me love this bag any less. I can't speak to the durability of this as I just received it, but it does appear to be well made and I don't have any concerns about it. I'll be using it on an upcoming vacation and will be great for switching between using as a backpack and then a purse when you don't want to look so touristy with a backpack. If it holds up well I'll probably order again in another color I love it so much. Added 6/30: I just wanted to add that after a 10 day vacation to the Smoky Mountains I still LOVE this bag! It held up great, even used it on a few small hikes and was perfect for carrying just what I needed to keep with me. I loved the fact that the main compartment is against my back so didn’t have to worry about theft in the tourist areas. Also, I wanted to add that this bag is definitely waterproof. It rained on us just about everyday and nothing in my bag got wet at all!! Even in a few heavy downpours! UPDATE 5/23/19 -- I came back to look at this bag again to consider purchasing in another color and was surprised to see all the reviews! When I first bought it there weren't many reviews and now there are a thousand plus! I wanted to come back and add that almost a year later and I am STILL using this bag every single day and it's held up great! I'm talking a full school year of carpooling my kid all over town and being tossed into and out of the car constantly (the bag, not my kid). There are days I know I'll be at school volunteering all day so I carry my full heavy yeti bottle plus all my essentials and it still holds up. I mean I'm practically beating this thing up to give myself a reason to purchase a new one and it's still going! Not even one single small tear or fray or malfunctioning zipper. I'm usually the type that changes purses every couple weeks or so but I still love this bag so much it's been the only one I've used all year!

I have used this bag daily since purchasing it in January 2024. It is still holding up beautifully. I feel I really got my money's worth out of it. The zippers still function perfectly. The interior cloth and pockets are still in great shape with very little wear after all this time. I like that I can grab it by either the top handle or one of the straps. I toss it in the passenger seat every morning and drop it on the floor under my desk at work and it still looks great. A little of the finish has worn off on the top handle, but it's underneath and not really visible. Spilled coffee on it and it cleaned up easily. It's also great when flying because it's so roomy I can fit my iPad and chargers in there with lots of other stuff I don't want packed in a suitcase. I also like the fact that when wearing it as a backpack, someone behind you cannot access the pouch because the opening is against your back and it has RFD protection.

I absolutely love this bag! I really was looking for a backpack that didn't look like I was about to go play a sport. Pocketbooks don't work for me as I have to carry an EpiPen and sometimes a small cooler. This bag has a nice upscale look and has backpack straps, a single shoulder strap and a handle! If I didn't want the shoulder strap it quickly detaches but I love the versatility so I do not plan on taking it off. I chose to go with the smaller size and I wish I went with the bigger size, but this will help me to keep it cleaner and more organized. The side pockets (2) are wonderful as they fit a water bottle or my LGV30 cell phone and I can quickly grab either one. They're nice and wide and pretty deep. There is a secret zip pocket on the outside side that can fit easily a cell phone or a wallet, maybe both. (I'm uploading a pic that shows a small fat book in that pocket). On the inside of the bag there are several built-in small compartments and on the opposing side there is a zippered compartment. I love the way the outer zipper opens in a U-shaped fashion and there are two zippers. It is so much easier reaching into this bag versus the traditional drawstrings on the top of a bag and then you're digging down through it, not able to see anything. I can clearly see everything in here at a glance by having this big U shaped zipper. At first I thought, "What is this? Why isn't there a zipper on top?", but now that I've used it, this is so much better! I am so happy with this bag. It's finally nice to feel like I can put a dress on and take this dressy backpack with me and not feel like I'm mismatched with my outfit. Very happy with this purchase!

I absolutely love this! It looks great and easy to keep clean. The straps and zippers work with ease. The zipper being against my back for security. It's the perfect size. It has some pockets and 1 zippered pocket so I use pouches for more organization. Highly recommend it.

Purchased this for day trips. Large enough to carry everything I needed, plus 2 pockets on side for drinks etc. love the fact the opening is on the inside to help thwart thieves. Would definitely recommend this bag.

This is a great purse, my first one was black and I wore it out after a few years. I ordered blue this time, because the blue one was $33 and the black one was $77 (what's up with that???). The only thing I would change - every pocket needs a button or zipper. There are zippered compartments too, but I wish all the pockets and compartments could be closed. Otherwise, perfect! Water resistant, great size, and cute.

The backpack arrived very quickly, ahead of ETA, so very happy about that. Also big is perfect size for my requirements, is as pictured and looks to be of good quality. Haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, trip overseas in 3 weeks will test it out. I am happy with my purchase ☺️
