Solid, comfy, functional footwear
Sturdy, comfortable, protective piece of footwear for any weather. You won't win a prize in a fashion show or at a dance evening wearing these slippers! But they are good for your feet; functional rather than fashionable

Perfect garden clog - on the large size
Perfect for working in garden, come up a size large but work well with thick socks. Easy for washing and leaving outside. I bought a size 7 but 6 would be better, I take a 39 in regular Birkenstock.

mules at last
My wife is writing this review as shoes were for her.I have given these a 4 star because even though they are comfy as anything, easy to wear and light. The actual mould of the shoe is rather hard. The cork support inside is a great thing but sometimes when feet swell up I need to remove it but the base/upper sole is completely flat and so hard its sore to walk on.I need to use the cork support which is great for supporting the sole of the feet and placement of toes etc but need to wear socks evertime as the cork hurts the feet when it rubs against the foot.

They're really comfortable and when I saw this camouflage variant
I use birki's (by Birkenstock) from when I started working in the kitchen. They're really comfortable and when I saw this camouflage variant, I felt in love. The quality of this shoes are peerless and also if they are survived for two years, for me are lasted more than expected (working with the rhythms of my job).

I want to love them
The sizing is odd. I ordered according to the chart, and they were huge, the next size down is too small ..toes hit up against the front of the shoes.I can live with that, but, there is NO cushioning. My feet feel fine, as the classic Birkenstock insole is great, however my knees hurt! I've never had this before ...there is no "shock absorption" at all! Im on my feet all day at work, standing and walking ...and when walking there is no cushioning at all ..my knees are aching :(They won't work for me

The end is in sight for the Boston Birki
Really pleased I took a punt on these.Have been wearing Boston for years but they are getting really expensive now and they definitely do not last as long as they used to. My first pair lasted 3 or so years and my last pair barely 12 months.I saw these for £26 and thought that as I only use them as a house show I wouldn't mind the slightly croc/Boston hybrid look.Absolutely delighted with the comfort and fit and they don't look that different to the Boston maybe?( Apart from them being red which was a moment of madness I do not yet regret). Added bonus; the pointless buckle on the Boston that snags on throws and fabric furniture is no longer an issue.Boston will always look a little bit classier and neater but they are going to have to halve in price and double in material quality for me to go back to them.
