However, the product content is outstanding. I owned the first edition a decade ago and gave it to a friend. I'm so glad I bought another one. Jmac's scholarship is unparalleled. I own several study bibles, and this is by far the best. Jmac doesn't waste a word. His notes are carefully thought through. He picks up a word and gives the explanation with conciseness and clarity. If you could only have one study bible, get this and don't hesitate. It will enrich you. Even the quality is unmatched. The text font is very visible, I like how they've used a different font for chapters, verse numbers, and titles. The paper is easy to flip. They don't stick as much as other bibles. I also have the ESV Study Bible by Crossway. I also love that, but this will be my number one. Condition/Delivery note: The Bible arrived in an Amazon plastic bag, no box or anything. The paper title cover was broken, and the sides of the book are dirty. Very disappointed. For some, this is not an issue. But I love my books. This felt like I bought a book from a store that displays their books in the open air getting dusted and getting dirt.

Its well-organized study notes and cross-references make it an invaluable resource. A solid choice for anyone serious about studying God’s Word. The hardcover, paper, and print quality are all amazing.

A pretty decent Study Bible to go alongside my McArthur KJV Study Bible from the same publisher. However, for the price being charged the level of detail in the print is quite simplistic and there is no Red Letter text included which I find a big let down for a Bible touting such a level of quality. My KJV study Bible was of a similar cost and yet has full colour photo's of historical sight's, museum exhibits, and regional maps as well as more extensive study notes and resources included despite the same author and publisher being involved. This is why I have left it a star short because I know from the KJV translation the quality could be better. All that being said, if this is your first Study Bible then it is begginer friendly and won't overwhelm you with information like many others out there. If you're looking for something more in depth then the MacArthur KJV from the same Publisher is a great option.
