I read previous reviews before I purchased, and true to form, this is a great clipper set! This trimmer is excellent for trimming thicker nails, and yes it is sharp. Just take your time, and have good lighting. I'm SO pleased with how well it works; compact, ergonomic design. As as ex-nurse, I cleaned them after I was done, with alcohol on a q-tip. Let dry, of course. Money well spent!

These are so easy and helpful. I even got a pair for my father n law. My husband is diabetic and 73 yrs old. His toenails are horrible to care for. They are tough and thick and must be maintained. As a retired nurse I knew we needed these to help us. My husband can’t bend with his back to care for his feet so I do it. My hands have arthritis in them which can make it a challenge. I ordered these clippers, they are very sharp and open up x-wide to get his nails in them. I can squeeze them to cut without any difficulty at all. So I bought for dad and he is very pleased with them also. They also have a separate nail file to finish any edges. These come in a nice metal case that keeps them secure and ready for use. You won’t be disappointed, just be careful not to cut yourself as they are very sharp, light weight and easy to use. They also have a locking button ton the top of clippers to protect the sharp edges.

Works easily on tough, thick toe nails. Does not require a strong grip to close. The blade is very sharp. Be careful to place the clipper on the nail and not on any skin. We knick two toes causing small bleeding cuts.

These nail clippers are the best. They are so easy to use without struggling and are very sharp. It turns a difficult job for a Senior into a piece of cake. I feel safe when trimming my toenails. I love the case and the little file to smooth any rough edges. I believe they will last a long time and the price is right.

If you have toe nails that resemble a cromagnon throw back like I do these clippers are for you. Nice wide opening to get over thick curved toenails and plenty of leverage to cut the nail. My toenails are more like hooves and are more easily cut after I get out of the shower . These trimmers easily open wide enough to slip over the nail so you don't have to nibble at the edges with small clippers. Very nice design and a quality clipper. I won't share a video on this idea because it might scare the kids.

I have thick nails and have had trouble cutting my nails as I could not find a nail clipper that could do the job. The product worked great. Very durable and sharp.

These are great clippers. I have 2 toenails that are very tough and these make trimming easy.Very easy to use, sharp, and seem like durable metal.
