Vacmaster 400 Series Portable Carpet & Upholstery Spot Cleaner Machine

Over the past 20 years I've had several compact pet vacs and all were disappointments primarily because of one of these reasons (1) impossible to clean the nozzle, or hose, or tank, (2) poor suction, (3) no onboard hose or cord storage. I found out about this Vacmaster 400 by watching a Project Farm YT video. (You know about Project Farm, right?). This vac is great. Great suction. Good spray head. Really useful rubbery scrub head. Cool little gizmo that let's you clean the hose using your onboard cleaner and tank. Dirty water tank is also easy to clean. Simple and secure hose and cord storage. And the nozzle pops right off, disassembles effortlessly, and is really easy to clean. You don't need any special tools or weird probes to clean anything on this machine. It's like a real human being designed this vac just for me and to my specifications. I only paid $70 for this machine and I think I got a great bargain!

Excellent carpet spot cleaner. It does the job. The suction is above average and it is well made. Used it several times on my chairs and dirty spots on the carpet. It works great and it’s easy to use. Has a long hose with a long wired plug for distant cleaning. The water container capacity is good for large messes. It has several attachments which are easy to attach and use. It’s compact and well made. I’m happy with the purchase and I like the reasonable price for a very good quality cleaner.

I have been looking at portable carpet cleaners for a long time. I finally decided to purchase one after one of my dogs had a bout with diarrhea. I compared all of the name brand ones but either the power cord was too short or the hose wasn’t long enough based on customer ratings/comments. Then I came upon the Vacmaster 400 Series. It was reasonably priced and had everything an OCD clean freak would ever want. Not only does it have a special attachment to put on the end of the hose to clean the hose out after use, the top of the Tough Stain Nozzle comes off so you can clean the fur and dirt from the attachment. It used to drive me crazy that I could never get under the top piece to clean that out. I used it on the 2 soiled spots on my carpet and it cleaned it up beautifully. The suction power was great too. It was easy to use and large enough to do multiple areas. The tanks are even tested for leakage before leaving the factory. I purchased the blue one, and love how it looks. It is compact and easy to store. It was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

This is fantastic little cleaner, I used it for my couch because I have a beige couch (dumbest idea, ever) with a dog and two cats, and I live out in the middle of nowhere. Pros - the suction is great, as long as you take your time and slowly move over where you sprayed the solution. - clean and dirty tank size is adequate for what it is made for. - it came with a small bottle of their cleaning solution. It didn't smell bad and it did what I needed it to. Cons - I ended up being super frustrated with the button to suction the solution out. It is made to push forward which just irritated me. I ended up using both hands to hold it so I could push the stupid button and move it slow enough to suck up the solution I had sprayed. I will probably tape it down or make something to hold it down while I am cleaning next time. - I like the idea of dark tanks but I couldn't see the levels of clean solution or dirty solution. I only knew I ran out when the sprayer stopped.

I have a bissel (plug green machine) that I really like, a red devil carpet cleaner, and ryobi swift clean - young kids, and four elderly pets in a large carpeted home to keep up with. This vac is the perfect balance for household jobs - cordless, ample power, and holds enough spray for several cleanings. The cleaning heads are also nice, especially the crevice tool. The brackets that hold the hose for storage could be a touch more secure. I tried to buy a cordless Bissel for two weeks but they seem to have adopted a weird sales model that made the units in some instances very competitive on price, but in most cases made ordering one for less than twice the price of this unit difficult. Aside from having the right balance of features for spot cleaning and being straightforward to source, this one also has benefit of a swappable battery. The battery it comes with will last several cleanings (15-20 min), but now I don’t have to worry about setting up the the unit to charge every time I finish a job for fear it will tucker out.

I am shocked at how well this worked! My carpet was only a year old when a small dog I was keeping for a friend peed on it in several places. I tried getting it up with standard spot remover but the pee circle just wouldn't completely go away. After several months of noticing the stains every time I entered the living room, I was about to call Stanley steamer to try cleaning it when hubby found a YouTube video on this gadget because his dad's carpet also had some stains from food spills. We decided that for the reasonable price it was worth a shot. Glad we did! Took me 15 mins and those pee stains are GONE. It worked on the food stains too! It is very easy to use. I am seriously impressed.

Gosh what a good buy! I love it thanks seller its so good it clean our couch. It does remove the dirt i love it worth every penny!

Product is looks premium and works great I would definitely recommend to others I got the heated one but the water is just warm I don’t think it’s worth it to get it heated but otherwise it’s wonderful

First use: never sprayed water. Not much suction. Started smoking after 30 seconds.

Funciona muy bien solo que si es cansado usarlo y se llena muy pronto el depósito de agua pero la succión del equipo es muy buena

Used this once for 5 minutes and then it stopped working. Can't get it to start again. Checked plugs and everything!

La verdad está muy prácticq, a aguantado muchas lavadas, la verdad para su precio está súper bien . Espero me dure muchos tiempo..
