I saw this off TikTok and decided to try it. I have thick hair, I’m tender headed and hypersensitive. I am also scared of flatirons in fear of being burned, hence why I never flat ironed my hair after washing and blow drying it. My brush iron didn’t get to the root close enough so I gave up. This flat iron is designed to get the root and also not burn me or my hair or scalp! It GRIPPED my hair to give it a good press. It heats up fast and my hair was noticeably flatter and laid like my 40 inch bussdown. The price is affordable . Only thing about it is it is a little loud but I get there’s basically a fan to keep it cool, hence the cooling software to help prevent heat damage to the hair

I finally decided to try the WavyTalk 2-in-1 Airflow Styler because I needed a new straightener, and I liked the idea of having both a straightener and curling option in one tool. I’ve seen great things about the brand, but I honestly didn’t expect it to work this well for my hair. For reference, my hair is very thin and naturally pin-straight. It does NOT hold curls. I’ve tried multiple curling irons and straighteners over the years, and my curls usually fall within an hour—even with product. This completely surprised me. It took me about 15 minutes to curl my entire head, and the airflow feature made the curls come out soft, smooth, and wavy instead of stiff. The biggest shock? I used zero product—no mousse, no hairspray—and my curls lasted all day. I kept checking to see if they had dropped, and they didn’t. My hair still felt light and healthy, not fried or crunchy. As a bonus, I love that it doubles as a straightener, so I don’t need multiple tools taking up space. If you have thin, straight hair and struggle to get curls to stay, this is absolutely worth trying. Hands down one of the best hair tools I’ve purchased. If I could give a higher star rating I definately would. 10/10

I finally decided to buy the wavytalk airflow iron. I was skeptical because there are so many lies about product going around. Thankfully I took the chance and even with the first time usage it was easy and extremely successful. My hair didn’t snap like in my old one and I could touch the top of the barrel without burning my fingers. Tht air holes definitely lock in tht curls and there is no wasted time waiting for your hair to cool down b/c it comes out cool. You can even drag your hair out w/o breakage. It takes a fraction of time to do my hair and I am elated. It’s money worth spent. I said thanks for your service to my old iron after my 1st curl. 5 stars

UPDATE: I maintained my original review below because this product just wasn’t a fit for my hair. I do not return used items and also exceeded the return window, but the seller reached out to me after seeing my review and offered a refund. Honestly I was throughly surprised and happily accepted. I do believe this iron will work for other hair types and with this type of customer service …well, in today’s world it’s unusual- maybe give it a go. ORIGINAL Review: Bleh. Not thrilled. This may works just fine for others, but I was not a fan. I have thick, wavy, frizzy hair. This product didn’t really “clamp” well for my hair type, didn’t really offer a smoothing outcome, and didn’t hold my hair all that well. Likely ending up in a donation pile for hopefully someone else to use with better luck. Luckily I also tried the TYMO automatic curling iron which shockingly works great for my hair. No snagging, smoothing, and holds for days.

Hard to curl, which is really what I wanted to have easy & Ive watched videos. Easy to straighten. Cool to touch on outside is nice. Quickly heats. I have shoulder length, fine hair.

I love this tool! I probably will add a video later. I have fine, shorter hair that I am trying to grow out, and I have been looking at various straighteners(not a big fan of these), curling irons, blow dryers, other stylers, was looking at the hot curlers(which I hate because they always burn my fingers), and this is the first one I have found that I absolutely love. I have about a dozen styling tools in varying sizes, and I may scrap some of them. I watched several videos, and as it was on sale, I decided to buy one and try it out. I was impressed with the curls that the videos showed. My hair has a tendency to look 'fried' as it's growing out, and can affect how much time I spend on styling it. This tool takes almost no time, makes my hair shiny, and curls it perfectly. I am still wearing my hair held by a headband, but this tool makes my hair look better than scraggly hair does. I also don't like how curling iron hair doesn't hold as well, even with hair spray. My hair, even after the curls start to fade, feels soft, and thick, and I can actually run my fingers through it and it does not feel flat like there's nothing there. I think I would have bought it even without the sale price-it was still an affordable tool.

Ok, I’m a first timer trying new styles with my unmanageable hair. I tried the flat iron to creat curls and waves, and I gave up quick, plus was way too hot and burn myself. Then I tried the auto curler TYMO and I was not able to pull the style for short hair, I found it too big and annoying. But this one, THIS ONE is simple and straight to the point, super easy to have your hair curly or wavy, I didn’t burn myself, the curls where done fast and effortless. Some complaint for the fan noise, frankly; didn’t bother me at all! Here are some pics of my first try, literally 30 min after it was delivery. Obvs I need a lil more play to reach the look I’m among for. But I’m super happy with the Wavytalk. Super affordable and even cute!

Doesn't work well on my fine hair. It curls, but immediately falls out and my hair is back to straight. I'm guessing I need the heat to hold in the curl.
