Ease of installing, with a hiccup
This compressor was a direct replacement except for the bolt size that attaches the Low and High side to the Compressor itself. On my original compressor the bolt were much larger circumference wise I went to my local hardware store and got the ones I needed. This may or may not be a problem on other cars, it was just a minor problem on my particular auto. After I got everything buttoned up it works perfectly. Don't let this deter you from making this purchase. It has the feel and performance of units costing much more. and I don't think I'll have to worry about buying it again. but if a friend needed one, I'd recommend this for sure.

Fit 1997 Camry 2.2L
Clutch on original compressor went out, with the age of the vehicle I figured I'd replace the entire compressor. Installed, evacuated and charged system and everything is working great. Would recommend this product and especially the price if a replacement is needed.

Wrong hose connectors 96 Camry
Seemed like a decent ac compressor but unfortunately the hose connections are set up wrong for 1996 toyota Camry 2.2l. I tried to disassemble the connector plate to swap with original compresser but the Allen bolts stripped and broke the housing, leaving the unit unusable. I took the electro magnetic coil and pulley off the unit and put it on the old compressor. Since this wasn't through Amazon prime and a 3rd party seller, I didn't want to haggle with the return process. Just make sure your compressor hose configuration is set up like in the picture and not rely solely on the description, because it's not 100% accurate.

Wrong compressor sent; not as in description/pictured won't fit a 2000 Camry CE 2.2L Item received today it's different than the one in picture. It wouldn't fit as described either. not even close. What a waste of time/Money... :-( Vendor like this should not be allow to sell in Amazon. :-(
