Love the deep dish style and the quality of the plate. I will say a few of them had some missing paper on the edge like something rubbed a hole but other than that I can’t complain.

These are great for everything, but especially food with a sauce that might otherwise spill.

I had previously tried a different brand of this style of bowl, which I really liked. However, that particular brand absorbed too much oil and left a greasy mess. So, when I came across these bowls and read their description, I was excited and ordered them right away. I used them for the first time yesterday during a casual gathering outside on St. Patrick's Day while serving corned beef and cabbage. Partway through the meal, I found myself chewing on something unexpected. After examining my dish, I discovered that the sides of the bowl were breaking down due to the moisture. I was essentially eating the bowl! On the upside, it boosted my fiber intake for the day. On the downside, my guests also noted the extra bits mixed in with the potatoes and cabbage. Thankfully, they all had a sense of humor about it. These bowls are a good size, and I love the pasta dish style, but I’ll be very careful about what I put in them in the future. I will still use these bowls for salads, which was the main reason I bought them to begin with. However, anything as hot and moist as yesterday's meal will be served in something a bit sturdier. Lesson learned!
