I have tried other probiotics for my dog many times before when he started improving from indigestion or diarrhea. As he got older, I tried to feed him probiotics on a daily basis because I noticed his poop was too dry and he was struggling to poop. It improved, but with this Native Pet probiotics specifically the improvement was bigger. He doesn't have to push too much, he is quite "regular" in all his walks and the quantity has also increased with more humid and softer poop. It seems to taste good (He eats it after breakfast with a little bit of water or evaporated milk) and he loves it. Price is "fair" (I wish it was cheaper, because as a mid to big size dog, he needs two scoops/day so I ran out of it quite quick). It is like sort of a moist powder, so I take the presentation (not the easiest to open) is tight on purpose to keep it fresh. I'm going to start buying the biggest presentation.

I use this one time a day for my dogs. I put it on their food and then I add water to their food and it also helps flavor their food like a topper. They like it a lot. Their stools seem to be less dry but not diarrhea. So overall, I think it’s doing its job.

My oldest husky is 12 years old now. She did always have a sensitive stomach but as shes gotten older its gotten really sensitive. Usually every 2 to 3 days she would skip a meal due to stomach gurgles , diarrhea, and constipation. We tried soooo many fiber, probiotic, pre biotic etc etc formulas, each came well recommended and with vet approval. They kinda worked intermittently. None lasted though. But Native pets probiotic powder is a god send! Seamlessly mixes in with her food, she has no aversion to it( so I assume it tastes good or she just doesn't notice) And now I can't belive it but she NEVER has tummy issues anymore. We've been using only one scoop a day and now 3 months in , she is happy, healthy, has great digestion, and her poops are always healthy. We are sold converts to this brand and its products. Just started trying their colostrum product. Can't wait to review in a few weeks . Seriously this product will save you more money than it costs. I have it on auto ship because I refuse to run out. Buy this!!! Worth it.

Great product. This helps my dog with digestive issues better than other products I've tried. My only issue is with the packaging. The lid is very loose. There is an internal dish that is very difficult to take in and out, so it doesn't effectively work as a lid, either. Then, the container is so deep and narrow and the spoon is so short that it's difficult to scoop the product out as it starts to get lower. I wish the packaging was a little shorter and wider rather than tall and narrow, or had a long spoon and a lid that screws on. I may just move the product into a jar or something. I hope the packaging changes in the future, but it won't stop me from repurchasing.

I have tried many probiotics on my dog and so far this is the only one that seems to be working for him. Easy to sprinkle on top of his food. Really like the metal container for storing probiotics

My dog has had problems with itchy flaky skin and yeast overgrowth since I adopted him 12 years ago. As he’s aged the problem escalated and he started developing painful red inflamed sores. He also started losing large patches of hair. The vet said it was from yeast overgrowth but none of the prescriptions provided long term relief and some of them even made his condition worse. We’ve tried everything from special diets, creams, shampoos, supplements, and many other probiotics. We started native pet probiotics a month ago and I am shocked with how much it’s improved his skin problems. Itching and flaking has reduced by 80% and he no longer gets inflamed skin sores. His coat is shining and has started growing back in the places he was balding and looks great. He previously had a very strong yeast smell that you could smell anytime he was near you, it was particularly strong in his ears and on his paws. The smell has also reduced by 80%!!! I wish we started using this sooner, it has made such a difference in improving my dog’s quality of life. He also loves the taste!

Not the right type of probiotic for all dog issues check with vet. High fiber source not good for pancreatitis .
