I find this warming tray to be very helpful when I am serving several warm dishes with buffet style self service. I know I will be using it at Thanksgiving and Christmas when we have family over, but I have used it for smaller gatherings too. It heats quickly, so that I can turn it on and put food from the stove or oven on it right away. It maintains the dishes' heat while I get everything ready. It then keeps food warm while guests serve themselves or if they want to go back for seconds later. I can fit two or three items on the tray at one time. The surface is sort of non-slip, so people can scoop out food without the dishes moving around. The only thing I don't like about this tray is that it is floppy. I can't roll it up as small as it came and fit it in the bag for storage. I lay it flat on top of some of my baking sheets when I am not using it, but I have to take it out and off in order to get to my baking sheets. I would also prefer to be able to move the warming tray with the food on it. If I want it in a different location, I have to drag it across the counter or remove the dishes and carry it to where I want and then carry the dishes over to where I have placed it. I sometimes solve this issue by putting a wooden tray underneath it and then I can carry the tray to the table or across the room.

Arrived quickly, in good condition, as described. Bought this for buffet style Christmas and New Year parties. Worked great, stores well. I wish I had bought this product years ago. Will probably buy another.

I’m using for the first time. I was so excited to get this. But I can’t get it to heat more 110 degrees. I will try again another time before returning to see if it works the way it should. The bad part I ordered another one for a Christmas present, hope it works better. I’ll update if things change. 12/12 Have resolved the problem and it works great! Would change my rating to a 5.

This is probably my favorite purchase this year. An alternative solution that keeps food warm & fresh for hours if you're like me and don't have the advantage of double ovens during the holidays. Buy it, you will not regret it!

Works really well! If you don't need it right away, remove it from the box and heat it up several times. It will "burn off" the factory smell before using it with a crowd.
