The quality and craftsmanship of this cleaver is outstanding. Out of the box, I did not notice any burrs, blemishes, or any imperfections on the blade. The handle is very smooth and nicely finished. This cleaver has a unique design that enhances both safety and usability. It has a finger hole that helps provide a secure grip and improves handling. It also has jimpings that help provide exceptional control and prevent slippage. These features are not commonly seen in kitchen cleavers, but are utilized in outdoor utility and tactical knives. It has good weight and it feels solid. It has a nice balance, and the ergonomics make it incredibly comfortable to hold. The sheath it comes with is also nice and sturdy. This cleaver can definitely handle any kitchen cutting tasks that requires a cleaver. It could even take the beating from outdoor recreational use as the design appears to be capable of that. However, I don't intend to use it for that purpose because it is too pretty to be used as a beater. This cleaver is also SHARP out of the box and is ready to tackle my kitchen cutting tasks. It tested it to chop crispy pork belly and it accomplished this task easily.

I liked one I got for myself so well, I purchased a few for gifts. Wonderful for bar b que or kitchen tasks. Nice weight for good grip. A good knife that cuts instead of sawing.

Knife is very sharp, Cut thru raw potatoe like butter, Really. Sharpest knife I have ever handle. Grip is comfortable!! No need to force knife in cutting, it just slides thru. This type of knife belongs in a professional Restaurant. Quick cuts and slicing. Keeps wrist from getting tired. Blade is thick, should last several years in heavy use. Great Job HUUSK..... SO GOOD, I PURCHASE A 2ND ONE...good also for outdoors, cookouts, and martial arts....cuts paper napkin easily...

Knives are as designed and are very very sharp

I was looking for something which would combine a meat cleaver with a butcher knife. Excellent heavy duty knife. This definitely filled the bill.. It needed some fine honing on the edge, but good balance and control. I like the sheath. Very good quality for the price.
