Intensive Moisturizing Lotion, Shea Butter Body Lotion, 8oz | Relieves Signs of Extra Dry Skin with Hydro-Urea and Shea Butter In a Non-Greasy Formula For Rough, Tight and Itchy Skin

I like another brand of urea cream but it’s in a round bottle and is really hard to get out of the pump bottle near the end although the product itself is excellent. I find Cerave’s pump bottles to be easier to get all the product out of at the end, so thought I would try this product even though it is 5% urea instead of the 10% I preferred. This is the perfect product to use on my hands in between my use of daily AmLactin. It takes care of any dryness and is gentle and very moisturizing. I will definitely keep using this, it’s very soothing and I like it better for my hands than the other Cerave formulations such as the lighter lotion in the blue pump or the cream in the tub that is not urea based. Those are good for face and body and I like them, but this specific Intensive product with hydro-urea is amazing to smooth out my hands that look crepey and bumpy when dry. I use this anytime I can use my cotton skin care gloves for a deep treatment. It can be greasy if you apply too much. When I’m not doing a glove treatment I just apply less to reduce the greasiness, which by the way, feels so soothing. It’s a good greasy if that makes sense, you just don’t want it getting on everything you touch, so if I’m not using gloves I mainly apply on the backs of my hands and it is simply wonderful. If you want to combat crepey or dry skin, I highly recommend AmLactin daily (the green pump) alternated with this Cerave urea lotion, or even apply this over the AmLactin after it has absorbed. I prefer to rotate them- AmLactin 2x day, morning and night, and Cerave in between. One last thing- USE SUNSCREEN when exposed to any sun since sun damage makes the skin texture you are trying to help worse. Especially higher concentrations of urea can cause sun sensitivity even though urea itself is not an irritating ingredient (for me, and generally not for most people- things like petrolatum are not irritating either, but with skin everyone is so different that 99% might have no issues but it’s possible a rare one might in some circumstances). This is a great moisturizer and in my opinion one of the top 3 urea products for hands especially. It’s good.

I’ve used the standard CeraVe Daily Lotion for years, but this Intensive Moisturizing version is in a completely different league for extreme dryness. If you deal with that uncomfortable "tight" feeling or seasonal itching, this formula makes a massive difference. Performance & Texture: Deep Hydration without the Grease: Despite being a "rich" lotion with Shea Butter, it doesn't sit on top of the skin. It sinks in almost immediately. I can put my jeans on right after applying it without that sticky, tacky feeling. Targeting Roughness: I specifically noticed a difference in redness and flaking on my shins and elbows. It doesn't just mask the dryness; it feels like it’s actually repairing the skin barrier. Fragrance-Free & Gentle: As someone with sensitive skin, I appreciate that it’s pH-balanced and fragrance-free. There’s no stinging, even on areas that are slightly irritated from the cold. Smooth Formula: I’ve used other intensive creams that felt "gritty" or heavy. This formula is incredibly smooth and feels much more like a premium cosmetic product while delivering serious hydration.

This has been so beneficial for my son he is doing an internship in concrete management and everyone on the crew use the same brand it’s crucial to retain moisture while working is this type of job environment so I highly recommend it for all you hard workers or even for those with dry skin it is non greasy leaves behind no white cast and last all day

I’ve been using this CeraVe Intensive Moisturizing Lotion and really like how comfortable it feels on my skin. The lotion has a rich texture but absorbs well without leaving a greasy or sticky feeling. It gives my skin the moisture it needs, especially during dry weather when my skin tends to feel rough and tight. I like that it feels gentle enough for everyday use and works well on different areas like hands, arms, and legs. The formula feels smooth and helps keep my skin feeling soft and hydrated throughout the day. The pump bottle is also convenient and makes it easy to use without making a mess. A great moisturizing cream that’s a pleasure to use every day. It absorbs quickly, leaving no greasy shine, stickiness, or residue on clothes — your skin just feels soft and nourished. The only thing that gave me slight pause was the scent. It’s not overpowering, but it has a somewhat peculiar smell that’s noticeable while you’re applying it. That said, once the cream absorbs, the scent disappears completely — so it’s more of a minor quirk than a real dealbreaker. Overall, this cream does its job beautifully.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

As someone that suffers from vesicular eczema on the back of my hands, this product by CeraVe really worked to help get my skin more clearer and smoother. Since using this lotion daily, I haven’t had to use the other cream that my doctor prescribed to me that much. I will say that it is not as greasy compared to Aveeno cream. For a while I had used Aveeno eczema therapy cream before, but it just was not very effective for calming down the irritation on my hands. CeraVe has really helped clear up my skin, and now, thankfully, I have been able to go more than a few days without having any flareups or irritated skin. I definitely recommend the 16 ounce bottle for long-term use, definitely is worth it. However, I must give feedback to both Amazon and CeraVe as this product is way too expensive. while in the long run for me, this was worth it and really helped, I definitely don’t agree with the price and feel that this product should cost much less. Amazon and CeraVe please make these products more affordable. People should not have to pay so much for something they genuinely do need. Other than that, on arrival the product thankfully came in good condition. Thank you Amazon for providing me with an overall good experience.

I gave this CeraVe Intensive Moisturizing Lotion 5 out of 5 stars because I like it very much. It works well for dry skin and feels rich without being too uncomfortable on the skin. I like that it contains hydro-urea and shea butter, which makes it feel more moisturizing than a regular lotion. It is especially useful when my skin feels very dry and needs extra care. The lotion absorbs well and leaves the skin feeling softer and more comfortable. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. It is a great body lotion for dry skin, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good intensive moisturizer.

This is the only lotion my daughter’s skin can handle. She enjoys the fragrance free and that it moisturize as well. She likes having a pump.

I have extra dry skin and this cream does help alot. Also helps with my eczema. The relief is short-lived, I'd say approximately half a day. Best time to use any cream is right after a nice shower.

Nice in my skin but there’s some foul smell. I can’t stand the smell

Too much oily

Excellent lotion for a body moisturiser however I would prefer 20% urea and availability in a larger volume. Otherwise excellent Cerave product as usual. If we can get bigger volumes and higher urea concentrations it would be great for exfoliation.
