Emerson portable CD player review
Purchased this is a gift for my sister. I can definitely tell you she loved it. She loved the sound. The price was very reasonable is why I bought it for her for her birthday. I definitely would recommend it if anyone wanted to buy it and I love the fact that you had to cassette the CD player all in one and you could play your old music on it still loved it. She said she loved it.

NAXA warranty for repair or replacement issues
The boombox works great, perfect size for what it is used for. However, approximately 5 months after receiving the boombox, the radio quit working correctly. It wouldn't tune into a station & the tuner wouldn't search stations correctly. I did purchase the extended protection plan but it would still under the factory warranty so I had to deal with NAXA directly. I followed their return policy exactly & instead of 6-8 wks for resolution of the problem it was almost 3 months, plus multiple emails & phone calls to get the boombox returned. Repair or replacement of a small boombox shouldn't take that long. If I hadn't kept making the phone calls & sending emails, I'm not sure I would ever have had resolution of this situation.

Disappointed, Function button did not work
Very disappointed in this Boombox. When I set it up and then pressed the Function button, the LED was a blank blue. No function could be selected. So nothing worked. I could hear the speakers "engage" but could not start any type of music, no CD, cassette or radio. I researched all the troubleshooting (turn it off for 30 minutes and back on, toggle the Function button (?), AI even told me to "tap" the unit), but nothing worked. Returned it.

The nostalgia and usefulness of the 80s boombox lives on
An ideal gift for a GenXer. They recall the nostalgic world of the boom box, and this boom box has all the features that take it from event to event and room to room.
