It's quite expensive for an air cooler, but the build quality, packaging, and accessories are excellent. The package includes mounting kits for AMD and Intel, installation instructions, cables, and a tube of excellent Noctua NH2 thermal paste. This cooler's thermal performance is on par with a high-end 360mm AIO cooler, while also being very quiet, almost inaudible thanks to its high-quality 14cm fans. After testing, I can confidently recommend this cooler. It's the best cooling solution I've ever owned, and I've tested many. The color scheme depends on personal taste, but I like the brownish-yellow one. For those who prefer a different color, it also comes in black, and it is called Chromax.

I have Intel Ultra 7 processor and used my old Noctua Dh15. During stress testing temps reached 103 degrees and stayed close to 100. This new G2 cooler is amazing. My temps only briefly reached 100 degrees and most of the time stayed at 90-95. Very happy and highly recommended.

Noctua set the standard for quality PC accessories - they really do. Honestly, the instruction guide of what to do could be read and understood by anyone, even those not IT minded. The kit came with everything relevant for either AMD or Intel installation and amongst the items included, was a Noctua branded Torx screwdriver which was perfect for the long reach required between the heatsinks. A top class product. If you're thinking Noctua might be a little pricey - they have every right to be. Zero issues, excellent construction using quality materials and brilliant documentation.

It's super quiet, super cool and very easy to install. Initially bought this after needing to return a faulty watercooler and it really is the top of its game, I have not a single fault. Build quality is excellent, the box was packed wonderfully and had everything I could need.

This is definitely overkill for any AMD CPU. Thermalright's Peerless Assassin provides 95% of the cooling performance of the Noctua for less than a quarter of the price. However, Noctua's engineering is legendary, and I know that in 3-5 years when AMD have moved on to a new socket I will be able to email their customer service and get a new AM6 mount for this cooler for free. It's objectively the best cooler, and it will last for 10-15 years, but if you want to save £100 from this and put it towards your GPU or CPU instead, that should be the priority. If money doesn't matter then this is currently the best air cooler you can buy.

Much better than the air cooler that it replaced, albeit I'd expect that for how much more money it costs than my old one! Overall, installation was incredibly simple on my AM5 board without really needing to reference the instructions as the process is relatively intuitive. Keeps my Ryzen 7950X exceptionally cool so pretty happy with my purchase!

I installed the Noctua NH-D15 G2 on an Intel i5-13500, and the cooling performance has been excellent. Under normal workloads and sustained use, CPU temperatures stay below 55 °C, and even under heavier loads the cooler remains virtually silent. Noise levels are low enough that it’s effectively inaudible in a typical case. Build quality is excellent, as expected from Noctua. The mounting hardware is solid, installation was straightforward, and once mounted the cooler feels very secure. The dual-fan setup moves a lot of air without needing high RPMs, which is clearly where the quiet performance comes from. Size is the one major consideration. This cooler is absolutely massive. In my case, I had to slide one of the fans outward to avoid interference with my RAM, and clearance could be an issue in smaller cases or with taller memory modules. It’s not difficult to work around, but you do need to plan for it before buying. Pros: Excellent cooling performance Very quiet, even under load High build quality and secure mounting Cons: Extremely large and heavy RAM and case clearance can be an issue Overall, this is an excellent air cooler if your case has the space to accommodate it. If clearance isn’t a concern, it delivers top-tier cooling and near-silent operation.

PARFAIT !!!!! J'avais déjà eu une expérience ULTRA-FAVORABLE avec un Ventirad Noctua NH-U12 P (en service depuis pratiquement 10ans sans souci), j'ai tenté l'achat de ce ..... MONSTRE (en effet, il est énorme sorti de son emballage). Pas déçu. Il a refroidit un 9700K pendant quelques mois, puis maintenant un 12700K (avantage de se monter sur CM 1151 / 1700) sans aucune défaillance. Je précise que je ne suis pas un Gamer acharné, plutôt Traitement LOURD en Photo et Vidéo, et là, comme dit plus haut : PARFAIT !!!!! Montage TRÈS FACILE (tout est complet dans sa boîte, avec petite Doc explicite. Tournevis Torx fourni + Pâte Thermique). Bien dégagé des ports DDR et dans mon cas de ma CG assez volumineuse. Ainsi que du 1er SSD M2 avec un dissipateur imposant. À mon avis n'a rien à envier à certains Système Refroisissement Liquide. De plus, SILENCE TOTAL ..... juste le chuintement très ténu de l'air en mouvement, quand comme moi boîtier ouvert pour raisons techniques (besoin d'accès à certaines cartes additionnelles). Et, cerise sur le gâteau, acheté "Occasion reconditionné", on a affaire avec le Constructeur Autrichien. Acheté, ..... reçu 6/7 jours. Que demande le Peuple ??? Bien sur, cet Avis ne concerne que moi ! Donc, Perso, je recommande VIVEMENT .....

This cooler is definitely a beast. It keeps my Intel Core Ultra 7 265K running cool, and I’ve never ever heard the fans ramp up to full speed—even when stressing the processor. It’s probably overkill for my setup, but the performance and quiet operation are excellent.

Jag kör denna med en Ryzen 5900XT och den håller processorn under 40°C vid vila med fläktarna på 25% och vid 100% belastning på alla kärnor landar jag runt 74°C med fläktarna på 100%. Fläktarna i sig är extremt tysta även vid fullt blås, ljudet från luften som flyttas tar över helt. Vid 25% måste jag tittar på fläktarna för att ens veta om de är igång. Tänk på att monteringshöjden är rätt stor på denna så datorlådan behöver vara bred för att allt ska få plats. Fläktarna går att justera så att de får plats över RAM minnena så inga problem med att de tar i fläkten.
