Great product - recommended as an upgrade.
Purchased to replace the stock fence on my 30 yr old Delta 34-444 Contractor saw. No issues with shipping damage or jumbled parts in the box, as others have reported. Assembly was easier than I expected. The mounting holes matched up with the existing pass through holes; no drilling necessary, and all the hardware including allen wrenches were supplied. Fine tuning was barely necessary and the adjustments were very straightforward. I also found that I can remove the face of the fence to replace it with a 36" extruded aluminum t-track, just 3 screws hold it on. Overall very happy - the fence is rock solid, the rails are heavy, making the fence very stable.

Very Good Table Saw Fence
I bought this to go on an older 2 HP contractor style table saw with a 27x40 cast iron table. I decided to go with the Delta fence, mainly because of price. When the fence kit arrived I took the fairly heavy package out to my shop and checked to make sure there was no damage and that all the parts/pieces were there. No damage, and all the nuts/bolts and tools required for mounting the rails to the saw table are included. There are good instructions, even though this is a pretty straight forward installation. I had to drill one hole in the front and rear of the cast iron table because the holes in the included rails didn't quite match up to my older saw. Actually, there were several holes that didn't match up, but I was able to use four bolts in each rail which is very adequate as the rails are heavy duty and once they were bolted and torqued it is very solid. The fence itself is very nice quality and rolls smoothly across the table. Once installed I tested to make sure the fence was square to the miter slots and to the blade. It was perfect right outta' the box! I ran a couple cuts on a long board just to verify. Again, perfect with no blade burn on the wood. I highly recommend this fence kit if you're in the market for a fence. It's a quality fence kit that's easy to install and dead accurate. Kudos to Delta for marketing a quality product.

Great Rip Fence, Great for adding DIY jigs onto a fence system
I installed this delta rip fence on an older craftsman 113 tablesaw, installation was very easy,(rather than trying to figure out the included installation directions, its much easier to install after watching several of the youtube install videos)I am very pleased with how well it works on the saw ,it made this older saw much easier to get nice accurate rip cuts,it was the best price of any of the other aftermarket rip fences available for this saw ,I highly recommend this item for anyone wanting to upgrade an older table saw rip fence

Great fence, terrible packaging
It’s a great upgrade that works very well for my needs. Far better than my 1982 Delta 10” contractor saw. Slides great, accurate and when used with a PALS kit the saw cuts amazing. Installed easy, all predrilled holes lined up. The cons: the packaging in horrible, all parts were either scratched or damaged from shipping. I ordered a replacement with pretty the same issue on the fence...just less damage and didn’t want to have a third package with the same results so I settled. Be prepared for that to happen. As with other reviews, the fence is easily adjustableBut there is a bow in the middle of the fence that cannot be fixed...that won’t stop me from getting prefect cuts it’s just a little disappointing. But for $200...it’s a sweet ride. I’d buy another without doubt. Fix the shipping Delta and Amazon.

Replaced a worn out "Excalibur" fence
I'm a high school shop teacher of nearly 30 years experience. At school, I am happy to report ,we have SawStop table saws , and they are EVERYTHING that they claim! Highly recommended! In my shop at home, though, I run a vintage Delta Unisaw that is probably as old (or older) than me. 1950's vintage, I think. Years ago, I replaced the original fence with a Canadian made "Excalibur" fence, which seemed to work ok for a decade or two, but in more recent years, has not held up. It would not stay put when locked down - it did not take much sideways pressure to cause it to slip, causing aggravation and potential danger. Parts of it - the roller bearings, the clamp pads - just seemed worn out. When I tried to tighten it up, it would get so stiff I could barely move it. The fence had become an aggravation and was potentially dangerous as well - It wasn't cheap when I bought it, but it was time for it to go. Did some research and decided that an old Delta saw would do well with a NEW Delta fence. This Delta T3 Fence and Rail system seemed to fit the bill, and the price seemed fair. I'm very confident and comfortable with the "Beisemeyer" T-square style of fence, having used them at school as well as in several shops I have worked in for decades now (Should have bought that rather than the "Excalibur" all those years ago, I guess...). Putting it on was not too difficult - Four of the original holes in the saw table (2 in the front and 2 in back) lined up perfectly, and I only needed to drill a couple new holes in the table extensions as well as in the side table that I had made years ago for the Excalibur fence. I also hung a new paddle switch (POWERTEC 71651) off the left table extension with a longer bolt of my own - SO nice to be able to shut the saw off by just leaning forward with my leg and not have to be fumbling around with my right hand for the old switch in the old location! Fence was easy to adjust to exactly parallel with the slots/blade, and it was not hard to adjust the gauge to read/measure accurately - and boy, does it lock down TIGHT. In summary, VERY happy with this new Delta fence for my old Delta Unisaw.

Fantastic Upgrade for my 36 Year Old Table Saw
So I thought I would be buying a new table saw once my workshop was finished. However, last year I was working on a project & right in the middle of it the motor seized up so I had to order a new one. Must have been something I was making for the grandkids or else I would have just given up on the project. With this investment I started rethinking the new table saw idea & out of the blue someone mentioned getting a new fence for their table saw & how much they liked it. The fence on my old saw was the big reason why I wanted to get rid of it. I did really stupid, time consuming things with blocks of wood & clamps to keep it from drifting. After looking @ reviews, I picked out this Delta unit & WOW what a great upgrade. It works perfectly & only needed a very minor adjustment after I installed it. Since my table saw is not a Delta there was a few installation challenges, but after reading & understanding the directions, everything worked out well. Having the front & back rails spanning both the table saw & the two extension tables resolved an annoying alignment problem I was also having with them. The gauge provided with this fence really made the difference in the install process. I'm not sure how you could do it without it. The installation instructions could do a better job of explaining how the alignment of the front & back rails needs to work. I spent some time trying to figure out how I thought it was supposed to work, but decided to blindly follow the instructions & I guess just as it is supposed to happen the alignment worked!

Great fence for the Craftsman 113 saws
EDIT: 12/23/20. I have been seeing a lot of questions on whether this will fit this model or that model. I can say that if you have a table saw 27" deep, front to back, you can make this work. Yes you will need to drill holes in the cast iron but it is soft and easy to drill. It is really not difficult if you take your time and check your measurements. Keep in mind that some saws are inherently inaccurate and the fence is not the issue, this fence won't fix this. Do searches online to see if your model is worth the money, time, and effort. No offense but this is how the tool world goes. Some tools are just not well built. I bought this for a 1983 Sears Craftsmam 113 table saw. There are some modifications but overall an easy install if you have some mechanical ability. You will need to drill holes in either the cast saw top or the steel angle of the fence, and 4 clamps. Take your time measuring and use clamps to hold angle in place.TIP: I measured the distance from the LEFT side of the fence to the RIGHT side hairline. There is a hairline on each side of the fence that measures the width of your rips, make sure the hairline is centered first it is adjustable. I measured 5.25 inches. I then measured from the RIGHT side of the blade, 5.25 inches and drew a line parallel to the blade, from front to back on the saw top. This is the "centerline" for the rails. I then mounted my front rail and tube( the part that the fence slides and locks on to) so that when they are bolted to the saw the hairline on the RIGHT reads 0 inches. If you bolt the tube and angle together first, then put the fence on the tube and lock it, you can do this quite easily. The fence will just touch your blade. Add a couple spacers under the fence(1/8") or so and clamp in place. The spacers will help keep the front rail and tube at the correct height. Then drill and mount. The rear angle just gets mounted so that when fence is reading 30.5" or so, it still has the fence riding on it. Adjust the height of it so that the fence stays parallel to the saw top. There are videos on YouTube that will help. It's really not that complicated if you think through a few time first. Hope this helps

Installed on a Craftsman 113, had a few issues
Fence only was more than the fence/ safety switch combo by $40. Guess which one I bought? I'll use the switch eventually. My table saw is an aluminum top Craftsman 113 from 1982 with steel side extensions. I got the fence installed and it works OK but I ran into a couple of issues. First the box it came in looked like it got run over by the truck that delivered it. All the Styrofoam was broken. There were several scratches on the parts which was disappointing. After a close inspection and a long discussion with my wife I decided to go ahead with it. In retrospect buying from a big box store would have got me one in pristine condition but for more money. Next the steel extensions had L brackets held in by carriage style bolts that would have force the fence out from the table about 1/16" in the front and rear. I wound up removing the bolts and welding the brackets in. Third the riving knife on my saw is attached to a rod that extends out the back of the saw. The rod is also part of the heeling adjustment and there are 2 screw in the back that lock it down. So I had to cut a notch in the rear bracket to fit around that stuff. Fourth I think I might of had 2 screws that lined up with existing holes (slots actually for the old fence). I wound up drilling a lot of holes in the saw but it may have been easier to drill the brackets.Right side of the kerf to the zero line on the fence needs to be 5 3/8" and to locate the first hole in the front took a little bit of measuring. They provide a metal template to set the height of the rails. I clamped the template onto a block of wood so it would support itself. I used my homemade scissor jack out feed table to support one end and another scissor jack on saw horses for the other end to get it in position, then clamped it and center punched the hole locations. That made a three handed job a lot easier. Placement of the rear rail is more forgiving, you only need to make sure that the fence can be fully used on both right and left of the blade.I got the fence dialed in but the cam handle seems very tight when locking it down. Unfortunately the adjustment for that is also the parallelism adjustment and there ain't much there to begin with. I am going to wait a while and see if the nylon glides break in a little. If they don't I might consider opening up the holes in the front rail.

Very easy to install om my 10" Delta saw. Easy to calibrate to true parallel. Very sturdy.

Big improvement on the original fence
The process was ok, instructions where good. I did watch a vid on YouTube re this fence . I was able to use the rear guide rail holes and old threader bolts to mount the new rail that was a pleasant suprise! All in all very happy.

Great fence and great value
This is an amazing fence from delta , I have a contractor delta table saw and I had a fence that is very hard to work with ( not a T system) and with this fence installed it runs like charm on the tracks , so convenient and easy adjustments and it’s almost accurate from the box . Took me a while to drill some extra holes but it’s worth it and it says that it’s 30” rip capacity but guess what I made it 36 1/2by moving it to the right side 6 1/2 “ and I worked great , as a carpenter and a cabinet maker this have saved me a great trouble.. 100 recommended

Huge upgrade to my r4512
Installation was super easy as I needed to drill only one new hole. Squaring it was simple as well. However, it gets only 4 stars because the aluminum faces are way overtightened from the factory, causing them to be concave. After I loosened them up, it was significantly better, but they will never be flat. Also, to add on my jessem clearcut, I had to loosen the fence faces as the body is just a hair too narrow. Worked out fine as I honestly only need one side anyway. But what a massive improvement over stock.
