Bought it for fishing, great to use as a cap and when the weather gets warmer, I can protect my neck from burning. It's lightweight, breathable and a reasonable price and looks great.

Not yet worn but design and quality look good hence 4 star. The side air vents look strong enough to keep integrity of hat together along with press stud neck protector. It is a lightweight hat so not sure if side mess (air vents) are required..? I bought this as I’m outside a lot. When we do have sunshine it gets a bit too much so went for the all round protection. You have the option of using neck protection or can remove as it’s attached to hat by press studs. When I’ve worn it I will probably update/edit review… thank you 👍🏻

Well made works well with the heat

Needed something to keep the sun off my neck for a forthcoming ultra marathon. I have a largish head and this fits well and looks fine without the neck cover. Quite well made and comfortable and the sweat band works. The issue is that it appears to be made from the type of vinyl used in shower proof coats. It holds water and does not breathe so after a 90 min run in the midday heat it was still completely dry apart from a few beads of water on the inside but the top of my head was soaked. It feels odd and I worry about whether it will lead to overheating. The holes on the side help ventilate there but not the crown. I wouldn't get another one, but if your use case is quite "static" it might be fine.

I only had the chance to wear this hat for about an hour on vacation before it was sadly taken from my bag—definitely a loss I still feel. That said, in the short time I used it, it was incredibly lightweight, breathable, and did an excellent job shielding my face and neck from the sun. The removable neck flap was a great feature, and the whole design felt well thought out and practical. I actually ended up using a shirt under my other hat as a makeshift neck guard after it was gone—that’s how effective it was. Definitely one of the better-designed outdoor hats I’ve tried. If it ever turns up again in a lost-and-found, I’d take it back in a heartbeat.

Nice, lightweight, quick drying hat to keep the sun off the ears and neck. I use it riding my bike, doing yard work and riding a jetski.
