I was looking for a compact washer and was doing a extensive survey. Finally I decided to go in for Karcher K2. I used probably 2 times for reading car and one time for washing 3 carpets. Based on the experience, the pros and cons are as follows - Pros - Very compact. Easy to fit the accessories ( provided if you have suitable water hose connector) Gun is easy to use. When release the gun, washer gets off Pressure is adequate and enough for washing cars, bikes, cycle, footpath etc. Cons- High noise level High vibration on pressure pipe and gun. 3 meter washing hose. Pressure hose connection mechanism seems not rugged. But it performs well and best for your car wash.

I have given 4 stars. Because there are pros and cons. Pros 1. Low cost 2. Helpful for single car and a bike owners 3. Easy to clean your car and bike. 4. Consumes less water 5. You will get exact service shop quality wash. 6. Water pressure is superb. 7. Easy to use and operate 8. It can easily fit in your car storage. It takes a gym bag area to stay in car. So u can carry wherever you go. 9 length of power chord is too good. It reaches most of the long distance sockets. Cons 1. High noise. Neighbors will stare at your machine. 2. Inlet pip connecting point is not compatible with any size pipe. You need to buy connector on top of it which is costly. Also If you connect some pipe by heating or melting, it wont stay for long time during the usage. So get a connector for sure. 3. Foam can is not included. Which cost 1000 separately 4. Shampoo suction will not work as expected. 5. Length of the hose pipe is too short. Example I have Brezza car and it won't come half a round at least. 6. As shown is figure you cannot roll the pipe for the given front area. It is just a show pic. 7. Plastic used for outer body is too low quality. So handle with care. Means avoid putting pressure during storage. 8. Front rotating switch handle withcare, if you put on some pressure then it stops working. then machine need to be opened and have to adjust the spring over there. Final verdict is good for home use. At this price you won't get any such, also you can recover the amount invested in an year, (minimum 12 water wash in an year 12X500 =6000, in addition ur bike and home wash is bonus.). Stains on your house compound or flooring will go very easily and retains the paint colour, walls where rain droplets added with mud or dust can be easily removed. There are some other models in karcher with small price difference, if you buy them then length of the hose pipe will be comfortable. It has been 4 years i wrote this review, so now editing and adding extra lines below. After 4 years still it is working same as day 1. After buying needful accessories, it has become very easy to use and worth as well. Now along with me my neighbors also bought after looking at the use of this machine. Thanks to Karcher.

Good product and gold performance. Does good job to clean car, lawn etc. I bought an extra filter as thia is required to prevent dirt from going inside pressure washer. The inbuilt filter is not much effective.

I brought this to wash my car, I hardly used it 6-7 times in a over year, few weeks after 1 year I could not start when I tried to use it for washing, service person told its switch knob gone, charged me 1600/- (since it was more than 1 year no warranty) you must be kidding me for charging 1600/- for fixing switch (start/stop). after one use it again didn't start. this time service person said that he had fixed it using quickfix( seriously such a cheap material?), he did some body cut as well. Every time I went to authorised dealer for fixing he always used to say it could be motor problem and I should to ready for replacement costing 5k, after 2nd repair (each repair lasted one wash only) It stopped working again and that's when I created this video. this is an unreliable cheap product made from cheap plastics, power system is major problem ( I used only 7-8 times with 2 repairs in 14 month) and they charge u 1500/- for 30 rupees switch saying its German made imported part.

I owned a Karcher 2.17 model which I purchased in Dubai in 2006 which started giving issues and spares or support from the Indian service centres was pathetic. I decided to buy K2 which was delivered today. I bought it because it is made in Germany and it works absolutely well. Very pleased with the performance. Quality at a dirt cheap price.

Received made in Germany piece. Has high quality plastics as expected. Pressure is good. Instructions are clear. Only issue is that it comes with only two basic accessories. No soap dispenser.

Build quality is good however it needs improvement in following area 1. Missing inlet pipe ( how such important accessary is missed) 2. Host pipe is 4 mt I think minimum 6 mtr should be there 3. water flow range is 6-7 ft only.(For solar panel was its not effective) I think range should be 15-20 ft after 1 use need to return.

Karcher k2 compact is a wonder washer machine.My first review was negative about the machine but it was my fault i haven't checked the filter of machine was chocked with the algae came through hose pipe,due to which pressure was not there in the water.when i cleared the filter it was like wow moment for me.Water pressure was just wow.I cleaned my car and garrage in very few time. Pros It is light weight machine can be carried any where. High pressure just enough to blow away dirt. Uses very less water and more pressure. Cons Plastic used to lock hose is of very cheap quanlity. Material used in manufacturing is not like wow. Final conclusion... Use it with care ,do not rough use,wash 2-3 car at time with time break of 10-15 min. Go for it. Thanks
