I purchased this for my elderly mother, who is experiencing memory loss and was often confusing her days or forgetting to check her calendar. After searching for gifts for someone with Alzheimer’s or dementia on Amazon, this stood out as a great option. I set it up in her bathroom, and it has already been very helpful. The display is large, bright, and easy to read, with an adjustable dimmer so it’s not overwhelming. One of my favorite features is how it clearly shows whether it’s morning or evening using a sun or moon icon, which has made a big difference for her orientation. It also displays the day of the week, full date, and year, all in one place. So far, she is benefiting from it and feels more at ease knowing exactly what day and time it is. The only adjustment I still make is fine-tuning the brightness, but overall this has been a very positive and supportive purchase.

This clock was purchased for an elderly couple with dementia to help them stay oriented during the day. Worked wonders as it tells the time, day, date, and time of day (morning or afternoon). The only thing is the manual way of setting it otherwise good purchase.

I definitely like the clock. A well-thought-out concept. Practical and easy to use. The only things I would criticize: even the lowest dimmer setting is still too bright for my wife, so she turns the clock towards the wall to reduce the amount of light it emits. The yellow version is more discreet, but not everyone likes this color. Therefore, a wider range of colors (such as blue) would be desirable. Finally, if there is a power outage, the display also disappears. The included battery only provides enough power for the memory function, so all settings are saved and displayed again as soon as the power outage is resolved. The clock should remain functional and be equipped with batteries that allow the screen display to be viewed.
