Omega 3 Fish Oil for Dogs 120 Tablets - Skin, Coat & Joint Support

Once the order was made, it arrived before the expected time. I ordered this product because of what they said it would do for my dog, Hawk. I give this product the highest rating possible except for softness. It's a tablet, it's not soft, it's hard. But that was not problem for Hawk. Within two weeks of giving him two tablets every morning, his coat became smooth and shiny, almost velvety looking. He doesn't mind the taste at all and takes them willingly. He looks for this ritual between me and him every morning. If I'm not on the couch, on time, he will come looking for me. His constant scratching has diminished also. I am very satisfied with this product and would tell anyone who cares about their dog to order this for them. Very good product. Does what it says.

My dog will actually eat this. By itself. Which is a miracle. We've tried oils in his food which would cause him to turn his nose from it and just starve himself lol. We've tried other tablets which he would not eat unless we hid it inside of a sweet potato. I guess this is edible to him. It has not caused his sensitive tummy to react negatively to it from what we've seen. It's great to have found one that he will eat without having to do anything extra.

There is no odor. My puppy is 4 months and I have been using this for about 2 weeks. She cane from a rescue and was not getting puppy food, so her skin is very dry and flaky. Her fur was dull. Her fur is definitely shiny and her skin has improved a little, but I think it’s too early to judge. She likes them and thinks they are a treat, so they must taste good. They are not too hard and she was able to chew with her puppy teeth.

So my elderly Karelian Bear Dog was Diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and it made her fur very dry and frail and you could be able to pinch a chunk of hair off her . I tried 3 different “high end brands” of omega 3’s to try to soften up her fur and get rid of her dandruff . I did get her a special shampoo and her Levothroid medication to try to soften her up and help but I just wanted that extra umph for her fur. Nothing was helping and I told myself this was my last try buying coco and Luna before I gave up. Let me tell you how life changing these are ! First they’re not just a pill like the other omega 3’s ! They are in treat form which my dog loved so much and in exactly one month she stopped shedding completely and her fur softened up so much . Her fur color came back to life and it wasn’t looking all dull . It made her fur look so shiny !! And her calluses on her elbow healed also ! They used to crack and bleed . This is truly something I will buy for life for as long as I have dogs . Thank you for helping save my dog

I have ordered two bottles of this for my 60lb Labradoodle. She started to get a little flank alopecia (as she had in the past). Our Vet said to try an Omega 3-6-9 vitamin for her coat. My concern was that our dog would not like the taste or consistency of a fish oil type of product.......but she loved it! We started to notice that the alopecia started to get under control in about three weeks (meaning it did not get any worse). In addition to the Omega 3-6-9 we are also giving her a 5mg tab of melatonin two times a day as well. Her coat seems much better and she has no problem taking the Omega or Melatonin with her food. We will continue to buy the VitaPet Omega 3-6-9 for her on a regular basis. Good product and responsive company to work with. UPDATE 5-28-2019 We have been using this Omega for a few months now and our dog's coat is doing GREAT! She likes the taste of the tablet and even looks for it as a treat before her food. We would recommend this for your dogs coat as it has made significant improvements in ours.

I purchased these to support my dog’s skin health as she developed allergies come spring. Her allergies at their worst manifested as crusty skin bumps and were itchy and prone to infection. While her vet provided the prescription med that disrupts her ability to FEEL itchy I needed to also adjust diet etc to actually heal and maintain her skin. I purchased this particular product based on other reviewers positive experiences. I was looking for something like this but wasn’t sure which brand was best. I can say confidently that this brand and product have changed fat Maggie’s (the dog) skin and coat for better! Her bumps stopped forming within a week or two and after a month of use the previous bumps and scabs were nearly gone. Her coat is shiny and healthy in appearance and she is less miserable overall. Notably she does not care for the taste of these which is strange given that she will eat garbage, rats, and cat sh!t. These crumble easily and so I just crush them up and mix into her dry food and add a little water. We are on our 2nd bottle and will continue to use for management.

Made my dogs skin issues worse. Love this brands cranberry supplement though.

We bought the Omega 369 for our lab who had dry skin and was constantly itching and scratching. She loves the tabs and eats them like treats. By 2 weeks we noticed a difference in the dryness of her skin. After a month the dry skin was gone, and so was the itching and scratching. Her coat is softer and shiny black. The Omega 369 is now a part of her daily diet. If we haven't given the tabs to her by a certain time of the evening, she will remind us that it is time for her treats! We are now giving it to our other dogs as a general supplement for skin and coat. The Omega 369 works great and the dogs love it!

My dog has done really well on these. I crush them and mix in his food as he has no teeth.
