Poly (Plantronics + Polycom) CS540 Wireless Headset System

This works great. It takes some time to get the hang of putting on the earpiece. It also gets caught on my hair, but I have long thick hair so I don't think that's preventable. Great sound and battery life.

This is the second headset I’ve purchased. First one still works fine , just replaced the battery after 3 years. Sound quality is good, and the controls are easy to use.

I bought this item to use for work as a home telephone nurse. It worked great for about 2 months. Then it worked intermittently, and now the microphone does not work at all. I have tried multiple times to reset the software, use it with different software but bottom line is that this headset DOES NOT WORK. I threw away $200 and cant return it this late in the game. My advice, dont waste your money.

Pros - The sound is very good, conversation is clear. I do not go far from my desk so did not need a handset "lifter". This is more for hands free conversations while at my desk. Pretty easy to switch from the phone to the headset. Cons - Does not come with the pictured the head fitting. I would have liked to at least try that. Also - had a prior model that worked well until it would no longer hold a charge. I preferred the prior over the head fitting as this almost feels too light and feels like it may come off of my head. Also the headset cover feels almost to light against my ear - the prior model was better. However the mouthpiece/mike is better on this unit. No comment on the over the ear fittings as I preferred not to use those. Overall I am satisfied.

It's perfect for use if you are right at your desk, but not while you are working around your store. It will not answer phone calls any way but to use your phone speaker option.

I work remotely for a hospital call center. I am on the phone all day & it works great. It stays charged for me all day, but I do put it back on the charger for a half hour when I go to lunch. Would definitely recommend.

Staff love the headset. Downside is longevity. For office use only it should have lasted longer.

Ordered for staff and not one person complain about product. Easy to use, sound is wonderful, hardly hear any background noises and maintenance is a breeze. Love, love and love some more!!!!!

Happy with it, works well, excellent range. It would have been the perfect product if you could answer a call with it

I had one of these at work and it was hands-down the best headset ever; that was on a Cisco phone system. Nice fit, sat sturdy on my ear, could hear nice and clear at both ends, controls worked, etc. Just loved this thing. It's my home experience that is reflected in the 1 stars. In an office setting (with Cisco phones) it's 10 out of 5. So anyway, I loved it so much at work that when my 3rd of 4th headset failed on my home landline, I thought I'd splurge (it's pricey!) and try this headset on my home cordless DECT 6.0 system. Massive fail. First, it was really hard to even acquire all the bits & pieces to make it work - it takes a TR-11 Electronic Hook Switch Adapter, jacks, plugs, etc to make it work with a cordless home phone. This was at the beginning of Covid madness, which can't have helped, but then after I got all those bits & pieces together it just wouldn't give me acceptable volume. I tried purchasing new phones (3 of them, all of which went back - Staples can't have been too happy with me!), plugging it into different jacks, etc. I did get enough signal for a connection in the end, but you could hear better by standing on the front porch and yelling. So if you can get it to work, it's the cat's meow; otherwise just not useable, unfortunately
