Piece of mind for power outages, healthier for cats
In my area we get power outages in the winter which can last for days. This was a big parameter when looking for a cat fountain. It has a nice external battery pack, you can have this plugged in to an outlet for continuous flow. When the power cuts, it keeps going for about 48 hours on battery. But this is enough time to get home and switch power modes to sensor mode if I'm at work or something during the outage. Best case scenario, I know the storm is coming, fully charge the battery and I'll switch it to sensor mode and it should work for about 45 days (I hope the power isn't out for that long).I'm super excited and a piece of mind to have with my cat when power outages happen. I also like that it's mostly stainless steel. Slight con (not really for me) but there's a plastic dish that houses the filter so the whole thing isn't all steel. In a worse case scenario the tray holds a little bit of water if there's no power source.Honestly, best 60 bucks I spent on my cat! I like that she can drink directly from the fountain hose or from the dish at her choice. I spent a long time looking around for a fountain with these parameters, and this fits the bill.

Great addition for my pet
I got this one as I wasn’t sure what size was best ( I ordered a bigger one too). Kept both. This one I use when going outside. Fresh water on demand when outdoors. Can use for cat/dog. I am glad I got this. And so is my dog!!

this one works just fine!
The first one we got did not work correctly. It must have been a defective pump. But I returned the defective fountain and received a replacement within a week. And that fountain works as described and just fine. This is going to save me a lot of time cleaning out water dishs and filling up water. Now I am happy with my purchase!

So Far so good.
It's crazy they want a review when I haven't had it very long. Been in operation for about 4 days now. So far so good. It IS very quiet. I do not even hear it come on - so far..... Quality appears to be good. Cleaning should be easy also. Love that it is cordless, lets just hope the battery holds up like they claim.

Get this water bowl!
If I could give this water fountain more stars, I would. Let me explain:I have three Golden Retrievers, and they drink a lot of water. I have tried several things to keep the bowl full and the dogs hydrated. The first was a gravity-fed water bowl that held about two gallons at a time. The problem was that before the water was gone, it would get slimy and nasty. Since the drinking area was dark blue plastic, the only way to tell for sure that it was clean enough to use is to put my finger on the inside of the bowl. Next, I tried using just a stainless steel water bowl, but it would run out in a few hours and still got nasty. For some reason, even if I put the bowl across the room, my dogs would manage to get food in it, that would then partially dissolve into the water and then decompose. Then I tried a gallon sized water bowl with a floating top that has a filter. The problem was that water could go in and out without ever going through the filter, due to a design that had holes in the shape of a paw in the middle of the float. Honestly, I'm not sure that the filter did anything at all except float in the water. After a few days, the water also would have dissolved food (Although it was better than the other two solutions), and when I went to change the water, the bowl was slimy and smelled like something died in it.I have had this bowl for about a week now, and the water is pristine. there is a water pump that is battery powered and can be set to come on when it detects motion. So far, the charge has lasted for five days and the water in the bowl is not slimy or stinky. The dogs have not once dropped food into it, even though it is right next to the food bowls. I am guessing that they won't if it has not happened in 5 days. The only issue that I can see coming is that there were instructions included on how to clean the pump, so that might be a pain when it has to happen, but so far this is the best solution I have tried by a wide margin. If you have a cat, or just one dog, I'm sure that this will fit your needs just fine, as it is handling my three big dogs very well , with just one fill up about every day and a half (and the temperature in Colorado as I write this is 110 degrees F, according to the thermometer on my patio, so they are drinking more than usual). An added feature that I didn't notice when I purchased this item, is that there is a lighted window (when the unit is activated) in the front of the device that has a blue glow, letting you see the water level. When the water gets low, it turns red, letting you know that it is time to fill it up again. You can just pour water onto the drinking area and it will flow down to the bowl, so adding water is pretty easy, and you just have to plug the included cable in to a USB charger to top off the battery. All-in -all, I am very pleased and satisfied with every aspect of this fountain.

My cats love this water fountain!
The media could not be loaded. When I got this cat water fountain, I really wasn’t sure if my two cats would drink water from it. After 5 minutes, this was set up and running; one of the cats decided to take a look at this new device and started drinking from it. I was really surprised. Though it took a couple of days for the other cat to start drinking water from it, both of them now use it often, and I think they drink more water than before. The device itself has a simple design. It consists of a stainless steel tank with a cover, an electrical pump with a removable battery, and water filters. There are 3 working modes:- Sensor Mode: Water runs for 20s when a cat approaches.- Timed Mode: Water runs for 15s every 15 minutes.- Continuous Mode: Water flows continuously (the device must be plugged in).I love the sensor mode; it’s almost perfect. The problem with this mode is that the sensor is very sensitive. They say that the range is 120º and 5ft, but in reality, it’s more than 5ft. Anyone in the house crossing the path of the sensor triggers the fountain. It’s OK because the fountain produces almost no noise, so it’s not a big deal. I would still prefer a range of 3 feet or less. The battery is rechargeable, and according to the manual, it can operate up to 45 days in auto mode. In my case, I have been using it for almost two weeks in the Sensor mode without recharging.I like the product, and my cats do too. It is a great product; it’s safe for pets and convenient to use. However, my review is my personal opinion. It would be beneficial to consider other users’ reviews before making a purchase decision.

Not just for cats!
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this item because I thought it would be healthier for our small breed dogs instead of their usual bowl of standing water. Yes you read that correctly. Dogs. The item arrived in a well branded box packed securely. I removed the instruction booklet and read it carefully. While I was assembling the unit I was charging the fountain and motion sensor as instructed before use. I will admit that overall the assembly process was easy however I did have a an issue with installing the curved water tube as it really did not specify how deep to push it in so had to get that one better once there was water in it and running. That was a simple process once I actually got it.Once the unit was all assembled I filled it to the max water line inside the bowl and inserted the charged power supply for the sensor and pump and once turned on it immediately came to life. Naturally the dogs were a little skeptical but once I introduced them to it they were both drinking out of it in no time. Now they have fresh water instead of standing water. When the fountain is running you wouldn't even notice it was as it runs very quiet.Even though there was a small hiccup installing the water flow tube I still can rate this an easy 5 stars and would rate it higher if I could. Don't think twice on this item.

Ottima Fontanella
The media could not be loaded.
