Barely have used these and the heel is coming apart in the inside of the shoe

Walking shoes
I liked the color and fit of these shoes but I’m sending them back. The picture on Amazon looks like the laces are just for looks, the shoes came with full laces, too much lace for me when I wanted a slip on loafer.
