Exact Fit and better than OEM
After 395K miles on the truck, decided to put on new shocks. Checked prices on various aftermarket brands as well as oem. Years ago had very good experience with Monroe brand shocks. These did not disappoint. They were a perfect fit. The first was a little difficult as I had to reposition the jack stands as I did hot have enough room to roll a small jack to compress the shock to fit into the axle bracket. Great ride improvement and a relatively easy install.

Perfect fit
Perfect fit and really helped the ride quality of my truck. Save the white strapping holding these in the compressed position. It’s not just for shipping. Makes installation a lot easier.

These work great
These were an improvement over my factory ones. They seemed to have lifted the rear like an inch or so. They were not real easy or real difficult to install. They say don’t rip the strap but you have to for it to line up then I used a lo pro car jack with a 2x6 scrap piece of wood to guide it into the hole and a flat head screw driver as well. I also used my impact wrench to loosen it and sprayed it with wd-40 to help loosen it. Took me about 45 mins to do it by myself I would recommend them.

2016 Sierra Z71 Like Factory and wayyyy less expensive
Definitely were gas pressurized and that's what I was looking for. I just returned some NEW Rancho RS5000X, that were supposed to be gas/oil shocks, but took 12 seconds to extend to full position after compressed. These Monroe's return in a couple or so (like OEM factory). The OEM shocks at the dealership were Rancho MODELS, but an unknown model.. They worked good for 80,000 miles. The OEM Rancho's were $325 new/pair The rs5000x Rancho's were $135/pair THESE Monroe's were about $100/pair A very good price for the quality. Way cheaper than the local auto parts stores. My truck is back to riding smooth, down the bumpy back roads. If I have any issues in the next year or so, I will be sure to update my review.

Decent replacements
Replaced both rear shocks on my stock 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500, fits perfect, and decent enough to notice a difference from worn out stock shocks
