ASUS ROG XG27ACG 27 Inch 1440p 180Hz USB-C Gaming Monitor

Of course this monitor is great for PC, but I mainly use it on console. I do not use the HDR on this one because I read it's awful :/ if you want HDR 4K OLED. Look elsewhere! If you simply want performance with crisp frames and a great picture in 1440p, this monitor is a fantastic choice. I feel like for console gamers, this monitor is really all you need. Some of the most useful perks of this monitor are obviously USB-C capabilities and 1 ms response time. What puts this monitor over the top for me is how adjustable the stand is; you can raise and lower the monitor, and you can turn it any direction you want sideways as well. This makes it feel super premium. The little control joystick to tune your brightness and what not is pretty easy to navigate with and control, so no issues there! There is a backlight Asus logo that you can leave on or off as well! I turn mine off; it's too flashy 🤣, a cool feature though. Console gamers like me, you will be VERY happy with this purchase. I mainly play on Xbox SX, but this monitor is fine on PS5. VRR, 120 Hz, and ALLM are compatible with this monitor on consoles too!

this monitor has exceeded all my expectations !!! No dead pixels, no backlight bleed and exceptional contrast. Indeed, coming from a 1080p 27" 180hz monitor it's a bigger change than I thought it would be so, I'm over the moon. It has good black levels and great motion clarity. the only thing better in my eyes is an oled that's more than twice the price to look kind of better and maybe burn in sorry no thank you lol. I haven't seen any smearing or ghosting, I'm not really a hdr guy so I didn't care about that. the sdr mode is great for me and looks awesome, so many options to tune to your liking. Then there is the price and its crazy cheap for what you get when it's on sale but even at full price it is a good deal. It has a RGB backlight too it isn't super bright but looks pretty awesome when on!!! if you are looking for a good priced 1440p gaming monitor stop looking!!!! you found it!!!!!!! its only been a day but if anything happens ill update right away. This is a huge upgrade from the 27 inch LG monitors I was using before in terms of color and clarity

I just purchased this to go next to my 2 year old 1440p Asus 144hz monitor but the picture is just terrible...the panel looks washed out. I've spent hours on settings and just cannot get it to look right. It has this weird look like there is a piece of film over the panel. My 2 year old 1440p Asus which is $100 cheaper looks so much better.. Cannot recommend.

Failed immediately after I couldn’t return to Amazon. Failure seemed electrical, as if components inside are damaged and the display shows a distorted unusable mess even with no external input sources. Manufacture’s RMA process is too much of a burden for such a large item.

I upgraded from my 1080p Sceptre VA panel to this, and it’s amazing. The contrast is decent for an IPS panel, the detail is amazing with vivid colors (as you can see in my Ghost of Tsushima video) and there was no ghosting. Super smooth motion on games with amazing all around usage. I can’t believe there’s no other reviews. I was a little hesitant to get it since nobody has reviewed it, but it was definitely worth the purchase! I use the Cinema DisplayWidget option and everything looks phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and if you are thinking about upgrading, do it!

This is a great 27" 1440P monitor. It also has a nice, smallish footprint which helps the monitor not take up your whole desk.

It's good for using as expected. But there is no protective film when I received the monitor. Not sure if it is normal or an opened box one. Because I had check online, every brand new ASUS ROG monitor has a protective film on the screen.
