I have this on subscription now because it simply works wonders. our elderly Ragdoll was losing a lot of weight and had a poor appetite, now he has gained weight and happily laps this up, with or without Lick e Lix. he has only a few teeth so this is ideal along with gourmet revelations mousse meals. highly recommended. whoever developed this little miracle in a bottle...THANKYOU!

Unfortunately my boy was too far gone when I found this product. The last few days he had he loved it and it did perk him up, it was the only thing he would eat. It smells very strong which I think helped. Im now using what we have left for my other cat, this hasnt affected her very sensitive stomach and she loves it too. It seems to give a much needed energy boost. It is unfortunate how it runs out of date 10 days after opening but I Would definitly recommend as it seems to really help

This expensive concoction is worth paying for when my cat's health is at stake.My cat wasn't as keen as others have been on videos - she wasn't licking it from the tip of a syringe etc. however she tolerated being syringe fed and when she started eating again didn't mind it being mixed into her wet food, so I assume it tastes relatively good.The smell is not as bad as some have made out. It's for cats. It is designed to promote appetite - a strong smell is going to help do that.On the whole I am happy with the product and would buy it again. Yes, it's expensive, but it has improved my cat's appetite and therefore her overall health and the liquid appears to be from high quality ingredients.The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars from me is the terrible customer service. There are two completely different feeding amount instructions when you check out the website vs the packaging. When I emailed for clarification (twice) I received no response after over a week. I didn't want to 'overdose' my cat on electrolytes etc. Seeing as this product is designed for poorly cats you would assume they would realise a quick response is essential. Oh well.In the end I figured let her take as much as she wants and it seems to have worked out okay.

My cat has been diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease, she's been prescribed cerenia and mirtazipine and is not eating anything- but she can drink this liquid with or without the tablets which is a miracle. It is expensive but the vets cost far more and this does the body no harm so it's better to ditch the medication and put her on this.

I have spent a small fortune (that I couldn't really afford) on different makes & types of renal food, supplements, pills & potions to try & help my 17 yr old Lily with her kidney disease. She hasn't liked any of them, a cupboard full of waste, that'll end up being given to a Rescue....till now! We are 5 days in of her taking it so I don't expect a vast improvement but for her to actually be drinking it is a miracle. I give it to her in a small dish, 2x a day. She seems to like that better than mashed up in her wet food. She is nibbling a little more so just for her to put a little bit of weight on with this stuff would be great. It isn't cheap & I'll have to go 1 btl a month but I think it's worth a shot.

This made my already poorly cat unwell with stomach pain, diarrhea and bloody stool. Not what he needed to be dealing with right now, poor thing. If your cat has a history of sensitive stomach issues I would avoid.

Giving my cat this daily as she has been diagnosed with kidney problems (she has only has one and it was working overtime!) She was losing weight fast so we needed some additional help with her nutrition. She has a portion every morning and licks it all up. If she needs some encouragement I often add some lik-e-lix on the top or crumble a few dreamies. I bought the pack of 3 bottles because once opened it has a short shelf life. So far, with excellent veterinary attention and renal medication, small regular meals and this tonic in 4 weeks she has gained 400g, so I am hopeful the upward trend will continue.The formula is designed for cats with renal problems and has a well balanced range of vitamins and minerals to help their daily life and add extra calories.

My 18 yr old cat lapped this up when he wouldn't touch anything else, and it seemed to do the trick of getting his strength back up to the point where he now takes some solid food again. The drawback here is the cost at nearly £30 a bottle - combined with the short shelf life of 10 days it's not something you can keep on 'standby' once you open it. It's certainly effective and has helped improve the cat's appetite. I didn't notice any objectionable odour to it, but there's obviously an appealing smell to the cat.The 3 star rating is due to the cost alone - if it was cheaper, I'd have given it 5.

Meine nierenkranke Katze ist sehr dünn und klein und es ging ihr nicht so gut und sie hatte auch nicht wirklich Lust zu fressen.Generell ist sie sehr heikel was Essen betrifft, aber ich musste jetzt auf spezielle Nierendiät umstellen, was das ganze nicht leichter macht. Ich habe bei meiner Recherche im Internet das Recovery Renal entdeckt und sie es vom Löffel schlecken lassen. Sie hat es direkt akzeptiert und es hat ihr offenbar gut geschmeckt. Ich mische ihr jetzt täglich einen Löffel davon unter das Futter oder lasse es sie wieder vom Löffel schlecken. Ich finde sie macht jetzt einen viel besseren Eindruck. Als Ergänzung für Katzen,die etwas aufgepeppelt werden müssen ist es wirklich prima! Der Preis ist leider etwas teuer. Ich finde es lohnt sich das 3er Set zu kaufen, denn die Flasche ist geöffnet im Kühlschrank nur 10 Tage haltbar. Eine große Flasche könnte ich in 10 Tagen nicht an eine kleine Katze als Nahrungsergänzung verfüttern.Ich werde es jetzt mal eine Zeit lang nutzen und hoffen, dass sie damit auch weiter ein bisschen zunimmt.

Ottimo ricostituente per gatti con irc. Il mio gatto lo ha apprezzato e devo dire che lo aiuta nei momenti in cui mangia poco.

PARFAIT pour aider un âgé 18 ans chat à bien vieillir. Elle a retrouvé de l appétit. Elle a son médoc pour l urée et avec ce complément alimentaire elle se maintient en forme. Je conseille vraiment. Je lui donne 5 à 6 ml par jour en 1 seule prise à la seringue.

Dit heeft mijn kat met nierprobleem echt geholpen. Ze vond het lekker (terwijl ze bijna, niks at van 't andere niervoeding). Een redding! Ik vond het zelf alleen wel stinken.

Les commentaires m'ont convaincue d'utiliser ce produit de soutien pour ma coonette de 7 ans, dont l'IRC de stade 3 a été récemment diagnostiqué. Elle en était arrivée au stade où elle ne mangeait plus, ne faisant que lécher le jus des boites (tout en buvant des litres d'eau) et elle était passée de 9kgs à 6 :(A sa sortie d'hospitalisation, j'ai tout essayé, toutes les marques, tous les types de pâtées et croquettes Renal, tous les "à coté" existants. En dehors des soupes et sticks Kattovit Renal, elle n'avalait rien: refus absolu.Elle n'a pas non plus voulu du Recoactiv mais je l'y ai obligée, l'administrant à la seringue. Pas au dosage maximal, mais plus qu'à la dose préconisée en version complément. Résultat, au bout de 3 jours, elle a avalé un 1/2 pochon de pâtée (au reveil, même chose le soir) et grignoté des croquettes (dans la journée). Les jours ont passé et elle a mangé de mieux en mieux (même si ça reste encore trop peu pour son gabarit de Maine coon).Je continuerai le traitement, autant de temps qu'il le faudra, au vu de ces résultats très encourageants!UPDATE, 6 mois plus tard. J'ai continué à utiliser le Recoactiv jusqu'à ce ma maine coon s'alimente correctement (croquettes renal à volonté et friandises adaptées matin et soir), quand elle reperdait parfois un peu l'appétit, je la reboostais avec un peu du produit dont je garde toujours un flacon en réserve. Elle a fini par se stabiliser et depuis au moins 3 ou 4 mois, je n'ai plus eu à l'utiliser. Elle est aussi en forme que possible, malgré son IRC. Elle est bien sûr sous Semintra, à coté. Une fois de plus, je recommande ce produit qui a sorti ma coonette d'une situation qui aurait pu lui être fatale.UPDATE 2. Une petite info supplémentaire, pour ceux qui galèrent avec l'alimentation de leur chat en IRC. Le problème des produits spécifiques est qu'ils n'ont pas de goût, c'est en partie pour ça que nos chats les refusent en bloc. Royal canin a créé une croquette spéciale, les renal SELECT (j'insiste sur select), qui est enrobée d'une coque appétante supposée stimuler l'appétit. Et ça marche! Ma connette ne mange plus que ça, sans réserve, alors qu'elle grignotait du bout des dents toutes les autres marques. Si votre chat refuse de manger et que vous n'avez jamais essayé ces croquettes, faites un test avec un petit paquet de 400 g, ça l'aidera peut être. Je l'espère pour vous!UPDATE 3. Dernier conseil :) Le Semintra, traitement obligatoire à la survie des chats en IRC, est on le sait terriblement onéreux, d'autant si vous avez un matou qui comme ma coonette a un poids élevé . Un flacon à 50€ durait pour elle 2 semaines, cela me coutait donc 100€ pour un mois. Vous pouvez demander à votre vétérinaire de faire préparer, à la place, des gélules de Telmisartan (composant du Semintra) en pharmacie, c'est ce que je fais depuis un semestre. Le mois de traitement (30 gélules) vous coutera environ 25 euros, charge incomparable à celle du Semintra. Si votre véto est sympa et qu'il accepte de renoncer à sa marge sur le produit de marque, il vous aidera à minimiser vos frais.Bon courage à vous tous. Nous le savons, à compter du stade 3, l'espérance de vie de nos matous est courte et aucun produit ou médicament ne changera ça. Mais il est possible de leur permettre de vivre heureux et quasi normalement, pendant le temps qui leur est donné, avec tous ces soutiens. Ca a été le cas pour ma douce et belle Mahaut, que la maladie à fini par emporter un an et demi après le diagnostic.
