My setup consists of an Acer Predator Helios 16 gaming laptop with an Intel Core i9-13900HX processor, NVIDIA RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, 16GB DDR5 RAM, 1TB SSD and a 16-inch 240Hz display. It is connected to an LG C4 55-inch OLED TV and an LG S95QR Dolby Atmos home theater system. The entire purpose of purchasing this cable was to unlock the full capabilities of the hardware I had already invested in.Before buying this UGREEN Ultra High Speed HDMI cable, I was using another HDMI cable that claimed HDMI 2.1 support. However, I was unable to properly access many of the features my setup was supposed to support. I was mostly limited to 4K 60Hz. HDR support was inconsistent. Advanced display options would appear and disappear. G-SYNC functionality was unreliable. Dolby Atmos over eARC was not working correctly. I spent 2 nights troubleshooting drivers, Windows settings, NVIDIA Control Panel settings, TV settings and game settings, suspecting everything from my laptop to my TV. I then figured out the HDMI 2.1 cables I had, were not truly 2.1.The moment I switched to this cable, things started falling into place.This cable unlocked:- 4K 144Hz output on my LG C4 OLED- HDR support- NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible mode- Variable Refresh Rate (VRR)- 10-bit and 12-bit color output options- Dolby Atmos audio over eARC- Stable HDMI handshake and display detection- Full HDMI 2.1 feature support on my setupI verified the HDMI certification through the QR code (Picture attached) on the package and extensively tested the cable myself. The results were immediately noticeable.I tested it with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Train Sim World 5, EA WRC and other games on The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on my laptop. Modern Warfare now runs beautifully at 4K at 144fps with HDR, G-SYNC and Dolby Atmos enabled. Train Sim World 5 looks absolutely stunning on the OLED panel with deep blacks, HDR highlights and smooth high refresh rate gameplay.The build quality is excellent. The cable feels premium, thick, sturdy and extremely well made. The connectors fit securely and inspire confidence. This does not feel like a cheap generic cable making exaggerated claims on the packaging.Yes, ₹1700 for a 2-meter HDMI cable initially feels expensive. I thought the same before purchasing it. However, after seeing what it unlocked on my setup, I can confidently say it was worth every rupee.One of the main reasons I purchased this cable was because it was one of the very few HDMI-certified cables advertising support for up to 4K 240Hz and 8K 60Hz with the full 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 bandwidth. Most other cables I came across primarily advertised 4K 120Hz support. While I personally tested this cable up to 4K 144Hz on my LG C4 OLED, it handled it effortlessly and with complete stability.If you have a high-end gaming laptop, gaming PC, OLED TV, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, RTX graphics card, HDR display, G-SYNC/VRR setup or Dolby Atmos home theater system, a certified Ultra High Speed HDMI cable is absolutely worth considering. The cable is often the most overlooked component in the entire chain, yet it can be the difference between being stuck at 4K 60Hz and actually unlocking the features you paid for.This cable delivered exactly what it promised. After days of troubleshooting, it ended up being the missing piece that finally allowed me to experience my setup the way it was designed to be experienced.Highly recommended.
