Very well made and simple to use. Has several deterrent sounds but wouldn’t scare geese away.

I got this to scare stray cats away. It is so loud! There is no volume button on it. I put it out for the first time and when it went off my neighbor’s dogs were barking and going crazy. I will keep it but only use it for Halloween to scare the trick or treaters. I am buying another brand with a volume button on it. This brand is nice if you live out in the country or if you have no neighbors near by or if you just don’t care what your neighbors think. I get along very well with my neighbors and I want to keep it that way. Again, this brand works very good and is worth the money I paid for it, but there is no volume button to turn it down.

Had to return, won't work for me. However, I think it could work well in the right environment. The bright yellow color could help it be a visual deterrent. I set it off inside and it was obnoxiously loud and I think the chaotic sounds it makes would disorient a person or wild animal. So, if you live out in the country and want to run off pests and you don't have close by neighbors I think it would be great for that. I'm suspicious about it's quality for water resistance, but I think if it had a clear rain cover that would work. I didn't install it, but it looked really easy to install and had more than one way to do that right out of the box. I wish it had a volume control or way to set the sounds to something specific. Where I intended to use it the dog bark would have been acceptable, but the blended chaos just wouldn't fly in that mid to high density housing environment.

Moved to a new house & every spring, the birds would get territorial & attack the cars in my driveway, pooping all over the sideview mirrors. Had to start washing the cars every day but the birds would immediately poop on the cars again. Even covering the sideview mirrors with bags did not help because the birds would then attack the windows instead, leaving streaks of poop all over the door handles. I tried everything: pinwheels, streamers, hawk kite nearby. Nothing stopped the bird attacks. No nests were close to my driveway, but the birds had taken over. FINALLY, I found this motion sensor alarm & left it on the hood of my car every time I parked in my driveway. At first, it did not seem to do much. In fact, it seemed like it was malfunctioning, going through all 13 sounds at once, more than a few times. Then, it seemed like it wasn’t working at all (maybe in the brightest sunlight, the motion sensor is blinded?). But two weeks in, I noticed that I had fewer bird poops on my car. Now it is week 3 and it is the first time with NO bird poops on my car! So I think this thing has been effective in scaring the birds away! I like that the alarm sounds do not go forever…I think it is like 20 seconds? I had one that lasted 60 seconds & that was too annoying. Plus, I love that this product cycles through 13 different sounds, so the birds do not get used to it. All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase! The fact that it is solar powered is a plus because I do not have to change out batteries.

Junk; I’ve seen children’s toys made with better quality than this. The worst part is the sound. The sound is a joke.. had they just done flashing lights it would maybe be decent but even then this thing is flimsy and hasn’t lasted more than three months in the sun before the brittle plastic started to fall apart. On the flip side, the battery life was good. It would last several days of cloudy weather without a problem. Over all I cannot recommend to anybody hoping to use this as a deterrent to scare animals away, it has not succeeded with that even when it was brand new.. again the speaker is absolutely horrible.

Excellent product. Purchased for roof security, but it also scared away the annoying crows from my shopping center

A good value. I’m hoping that they work. It would be better if it didn’t shuffle through the sounds and allowed you to lock into one but otherwise it’s loud and should help keep the geese away

these are fun and annoying. So I know they annoy the critters - I have seen them running past it on camera and do not linger. I set to night time mode only. I like the rotation of sounds. Loud enough!! (Y)

These things actually do work fantastic But.. They are so loud Your neighbors will complain. But they do stop every kind of environment or person.

Easy to set up. Been using it a week and still works. Different sounds which is nice, but poor quality sound. It is loud which is good. Price is a bit high. Id like to purchase more, but not for the asking price. It does go off a lot because any little thing sets it off, like a butterfly 🦋, so some may find that annoying.

This thing is awesome. I bought it to deter a local bear from my bee yard. I can’t tell if it would actually repel a bear as he hasn’t visited my yard yet but I forgot about it, as I am not often in the bee yard at night and it does not detect motion during the day, and last night when I went into the yard it scared the heck out of me! Loud and flashing red and blue lights. Video is night cam so colors not seen.
