Great Launcher - Would Buy Again!
We use this ball launcher 3 or 4 times a week for about 20 shots each time with our dog. We purchased it two months ago and we are very happy. Can a 20 year old person throw a ball further? Yes, but we are in our 60's. Plus, you can use the end of the ball gun to "pick up" the tennis ball for the next launch without having to bend over. So it is already loaded in the gun. This does not sound like much, but if you are shooting the ball 20 times, then it is a nice feature that you don't have to bend over each time. It also allows us to get the ball without competing with our dog! March 2026 Update: We originally purchased the gun Aug 2022. The rubber band that propels the ball finally broke. That has been the only issue we have had. Unfortunately it does not appear that we can order a replacement rubber band, but it appears I can substitute 1/4 inch tubing to replace the rubber band, which I will try. This has been a great gun. I will purchase it again it my "fix" does not work out. We cock the gun to about the 3rd click and it shoots about 20-25 feet when we hold the level with the ground. It would shoot further it we cocked it further. Some reviewers mentioned the large rubber band weakened over time, but we have not experienced that. If we do, we'll cock it to the 4th click! The other thing some reviewers mentioned was part of the trigger mechanism broke after a short period of time. We have not experienced that either, but we are gentle with the things we purchase. I am not saying you have to handle the gun with white gloves, but if you are mistreating an object it is going to break. We have noticed a difference in how far fresh tennis balls will go versus those that are VERY dead; but again, this is expected. I am happy with how far it shoots most of the tennis balls we have. The other great thing is this gun takes the standard size tennis balls. If this gun breaks in the future, I will DEFINITELY purchase another one! Very happy with it.

Play with your dog!!
The order was efficient. I have ordered this before. My dog LOVES to play ball with this. She loves to chase and catch balls but doesn’t return them so we have 100 balls. Sadly there is a life expectancy of this Kannon and at some time the elastic that helps propel the balls will break. There is no way to fix that so you must order a new one. We wish it would just last forever!

Great dog toy, one flaw.
My dog loves this and it's easy to use. The only issue is the rubber band inside will break eventually. Hyper Pet you miss the mark by not selling replacement bands. I just purchased another because it's so easy to use while walking my dog in open areas.

Better than the Nerf Launcher
After going through four Nerf ball launchers, I was tired of constantly replacing them and decided to try this instead. So far, I actually like it much better. First impression: it feels higher quality. The plastic is thicker and sturdier, not thin or cheap-feeling. I also prefer the launch mechanism. It uses more of an old-school rubber band pull system with a handle, which is much easier to use than the Nerf spring mechanism. With the Nerf launchers, I often had to use two hands and a lot of force to pull it back, which got tedious fast. I also really like how much easier it is to pick up the ball. Since the launcher is longer, I barely have to bend over, and it grabs the ball much more easily than the Nerf one, where the ball has to slide way back into the mechanism. Downside: it doesn’t launch quite as far as the Nerf launcher. Also, while Nerf balls work, it seems to perform best with a standard tennis ball. That would be perfect except I have a bulldog who destroys tennis balls quickly. That said, for the price (comparable or even slightly cheaper than Nerf), this feels like a great upgrade so far. I’ve only had it a few days, so I’ll update my review if durability changes over time, but my initial impression is very positive and I’d recommend it. —— Adjusting my review after a month from 4 to 3 stars. The main reason being, it just isn’t as powerful enough. You have to use a dry tennis ball and can’t really swap for any other balls because it doesn’t have the power to launch them more than a foot. This is a problem because tennis balls get soggy (I have a bulldog) and fall apart constantly. I have a lot of chuck-it and nerf balls that this simply cannot launch properly.

Years of Fun!
I just checked Amazon to see when I bought this because it has lasted so well. 4 1/2 years! I can see that the rubber bands are starting to get hard so it may not last much longer, but I sure got my money’s worth! Already have another one in the cart for whenever I need it.

Price goes up, quality goes down. Moving on.
After multiple purchases of these tennis ball launchers over the past couple years I'm now in the hunt for a replacement model. I loved them at first and my little Ridgeback mix quickly became tennis ball obsessed so every time we'd go outside she'd sit and stare at her "ball gun" hanging by the door begging me to take it out with us. When the first one broke she was beside herself because we had to switch back to playing frisbee while I waited for a replacement to arrive. At that point I started buying them two at a time and to date have purchased six. But we're once again on our last surviving gun and the last two made me very disappointed. I had one with about two months of use on it that started coming apart around one of the screw holes. Eventually it got to the point where I'd pull the handle back and it would release immediately.. the catch inside had broken loose. Not good. So I went in and opened the box that contained our most recently purchased set of two. Unpackaged one and took it outside. That one didn't even last a day ebfore the rubber band snapped rendering it totally useless. I attempted to take it apart and see if I could use the band from the other broken one or somehow piece together a usable launcher but the screws stripped almost immediately and it wouldn't come apart. So I now have two in my trash can. The last one has been in rotation for about two days now and seems to be working so far but I noticed a strange coloration in the rubber band that I also saw on the one where the band snapped. I'm not sure if they're old rubber bands that are causing failures or if something in the gun is causing premature wear but I'm worried this one won't last long and now that the price has increased $10 per launcher I can't continue to justify buying multiples knowing they're breaking faster than they used to. So the search for a different brand/model begins. Wish me luck cause my pup will be lost without her ball!

Purtroppo l'elastico si è spezzato subito
Dopo un solo utilizzo si è verificato quello che si vede in tante recensioni. Si è spezzato l'elastico. Potenzialmente molto bello ma devono migliorare l'elastico.

Awesome! Amazing!
Video was just a test, but this is awesome! I love this product, and I can say with certainty, my dog does too. My shoulder needs surgery (again) so throwing balls for my dog is close to impossible. With this toy, I just load it and shoot, no need to throw. Awesome, great, perfect. Sorry but I'm out of words ♥️

A great toy that my dog LOVES!
Got this to replace another tennis gun that our friends kids broke the last time they visited (little sugars that they are). My dog Ava absolutely loves this toy. As soon as she hears me cocking the gun - she immediately knows what it is and comes running. As she is getting older I'm trying to avoid the traditional ball throwers that make the ball bounce really high - and that she will throw herself at - jumping up high and landing on her hind legs. I never review toys like this immediate as sometimes they self destroy after a few months but I got this in December and it is still going strong.

Not bad
Bought to shoot the tennis ball a long way and shoots about 10m, more for novelty than anything
