Finally, a drain hair catcher that actually catches the hair before it goes down the drain. This is being used in our bathtub shower and when the water is first turned on, the drain cover does move a bit, but once you turn on the shower and push it over the drain, it stays put and works well. Other drain covers I have tried allowed the hair to slip under the cover and ended up clogging the drain.

I have a standing shower, fiber glass shower pan, with a grate over the drain and it works very well. I lose a lot of hair during a shower and cleanup was easy. All had to do was swirl the hair around and I was able to pick it up it one piece. I used to use the plastic ones that you drop in and catches hair like a basket and it was gross and hard to pull-long hair out. This one is a smith metal with holes small enough to stop hairs but big enough so it doesn’t slow the drain. Would buy again

I bought these to cut down on clogged drains, and they’ve been doing the job well. The stainless steel design feels sturdy, and the silicone rim helps keep the catcher in place so water flows through while hair and debris stay out. They’re easy to remove and clean, which makes bathroom maintenance a lot less of a hassle. The pack comes with four, so I was able to use them in both showers and sinks. They fit well over standard drains, though if you have an unusually small or large drain, the 4.72” size might not be a perfect match. Also, since the silicone rim is flexible, it can shift slightly if the water pressure is high, but overall it still stays in place better than plastic alternatives I’ve tried. One minor drawback is that because the mesh is fine, water drains a little slower when a lot of hair builds up, so you do have to rinse them out frequently. Still, I’d rather clean the catcher than deal with a clogged pipe. Overall, this is a solid, affordable solution for keeping drains clear. Good value with four pieces included, and much sturdier than disposable options.

Nice quality! They don't look disgusting in the kitchen sink or the bathtub. They seem to separate hair in the bathtub. I had all metal filters but I was worried about electrolysis over the long haul. This product has a plastic border that makes metal on metal contact impossible.

They rusted after a few months.

I have an old house, with old pipes. Even though I'm very careful about what goes down my drains, I've still had instances of clogging in the kitchen. I bought the two-pack months ago, and they work great. I bought another two-pack for another two drains. I put them over my kitchen sink drains, and they catch the small particles that the regular drain basket misses. In the kitchen, they stay in place pretty well, with readjusting occasionally. They work great in the shower and catch a lot of hair but are still easy to clean. Very happy with these and I already bought again.

This little drain cover is fabulous! It doesn't move when the shower's running, even though there is nothing really holding it in place; it just lays nicely, and the hair easily wipes off of it. It's just there, does its job, and looks nice in our walk-in shower.
